Ari and Biniyam first appeared on Seasons 2 and 3 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way and have a child together named Avi.

90 Day Fiance features Americans who have fallen in love with foreigners bringing their fiances to the United States on K-1 visas.

However, once the couple is in America together, the American must marry their overseas partner within the 90-day period allowed by the visa or the foreigner has to return to their home country.

"The pressure is on and with travel guidelines more challenging than ever, there's even more at stake with these international love stories," TLC teased of the new season.

"Couples aren't just navigating unique lifestyle and cultural changes when arriving in America -- many of them must also adjust to parenthood and nontraditional family lifestyles. And while absence makes the heart grow fonder, personalities and temperaments have changed and not always for the best."

Below is what happened on Episode 9 of 90 Day Fiance's ninth season.

SHAEEDA and BILAL

Shaeeda was able to spend some on-on-one time with Bilal's daughter Zaynah since he had them for the weekend, and Shaeeda wanted to show Bilal how she was ready for motherhood and would make a great stepmom as well.

Shaeeda therefore taught Zaynah how to cook a traditional Trinidad and Tobago dish with curry.

Zaynah thought some of Shaeeda's comments were awkward, especially when Shaeeda said she must clean the frozen chicken like she'd clean her lady parts.

The girls bonded over being messy girls in Bilal's home, which apparently drove Bilal crazy, but Zaynah still wasn't ready to call Shaeeda "Umi," which means mother, because the girls barely knew each other.

Shaeeda explained to Bilal's daughter how Umi was just a term of endearment and respect for adults and elders in Trinidad and Tobago, but she told Bilal's daughter to take her time since they were just getting to know each other.

Shaeeda realized she'd need to take baby steps and have patience with the kids, but she hoped they'd eventually come around to calling her Umi.

One month into Shaeeda's move to America, she wanted to talk about wedding planning. Bilal, however, didn't want to get into the details until he could bring up the fact he wanted a prenuptial agreement.

Bilal and Shaeeda ended up riding scooters around a park with the kids, but Shaeeda struggled to stay on the scooter and get some speed. The group had some fun together during the nice family outing.

Shaeeda called Bilal "fussy" during a conversation, saying that she was often worried Bilal would complain about the house or what she's doing when he comes home. Shaeeda said Bilal would complain about unshined spoons, but Bilal said Shaeeda had never shined spoons.

The pair argued a lot, with Shaeeda complaining that Bilal always needed to win. Shaeeda accused Bilal of nagging or giving him a lecture during every chat, but Bilal felt differently.

Bilal said he and Shaeeda argued more than he had ever argued with someone in his life. Shaeeda asked for some "me time," and so Bilal let her sit by herself for a while.

Shaeeda explained to the cameras that every time she brought up a problem to Bilal, he would deflect and put the problem back on her. They were butting heads and unable to find a solution and communicate effectively.

"This is not how I see myself dealing with a disagreement with my future spouse," Shaeeda noted.

JIBRI and MIONA

Jibri and his best friend David were shown fighting and wrestling in the music studio. Jibri complained that he was tired of his best friend "talking sh-t" about Miona and blaming her for things all the time.

David thought Miona distracted Jibri and prevented him from focusing on their band, and Jibri was just tired of David nagging him.

David said Miona was the source of Jibri's erratic behavior and he found it very concerning and problematic, especially since Jibri had just made a scene in front of a big music producer or engineer in Chicago.

Jibri was afraid they looked like amateurs, but they eventually got their act together and began recording. Jibri said it definitely felt good to be back in the studio and his band was like a dysfunctional family that he'd always love no matter what.

At the end of the session, Jibri apologized for having lost his cool. Jibri wanted to put his full effort into the band, but he needed to do the same thing for Miona.

"I feel like I did give up the band for her. I don't know how to do both... I just don't want to get distracted and lost and give up on my dream. I got in a little over my head... It's just a lot, man," Jibri lamented.

Miona later tried on wedding dresses with a member of Jibri's band named Brandi, considering the girls were actually close.

Miona said Jibri was worried about money but she didn't care and was going to pick out her dream dress. She also said she wanted Jibri to fight for her and stand up for her, and Brandi shared how Jibri had fought David and demanded that Miona not be brought up in conversation.

Miona was glad to hear that and wanted to remain Jibri's main priority, and so Brandi wasn't sure how Jibri was going to juggle his fiance and bandmates going forward.

Jibri later explained to David how music wasn't Miona's world, and David was afraid to see Jibri invest time and money into something that may not work out.

Jibri explained to his best friend how he wanted to "create" and Miona would never be able to satisfy his dopamine levels and urges by herself, and David said he was seeing two different worlds.

"What do you think I should do? Would you get married right now?" Jibri asked David.

"No," David replied. "I think I would need a little time to get to know my partner... People change."

Jibri confessed to being an impulsive person, and so he began to fear that he was making a mistake by putting Miona ahead of his career. Jibri admitted to feeling "a lot of doubt" about Miona suddenly.

KOBE and EMILY

Kobe had been in America for about a month and they had some issues to work through.

Emily therefore planned a fun little horseback riding date at her neighbor's house. Kobe, however, was a little afraid of horses and seemed nervous.

Kobe said he and Emily didn't let fighting ruin experiences they could have together, including this one.

Another point of contention was that Emily needed to ask her family for money for her wedding, which hurt Kobe's pride a little bit.

Emily's parents were already paying for everything for Emily, and so her father said Kobe was going to need to prove he could provide for his family.

They also didn't want Emily to rush into marriage if she wasn't ready, and her dad David was upset about how Kobe had told his daughter to "shut the f-ck up," something that he found very disrespectful.

Emily's mom didn't think everything was going to be fine if the first 30 days of them living together wasn't like a honeymoon, but Emily assured her parents that she "had it handled."

Emily said she didn't need a third party in her relationship trying to help them figure stuff out. Her parents worried Emily didn't have a clue how to live on her own, make house payments, and take care of herself.

David, an architect, later sat down with Kobe for a chat about his "serious concerns."

Emily's father asked Kobe, a former civil engineer, to reveal his "vision" and plans for the future in terms of finances, and Kobe mentioned maybe learning David's business and taking it over one day.

But Kobe had only graduated high school -- and with little training -- and so David called that plan "crazy" and admitted Kobe was "out of his mind" if he thought that was going to happen.

David told Kobe how he'd need over five years of training and more schooling, which would be very expensive. Kobe said he had saved $4,000, which could last them a while, but David pointed out how that was not a lot of money in America and would only last a couple months.

Kobe had been thinking his money could fulfill the promises he had made to Emily, but now he was no longer sure. David advised Kobe and Emily to budget for food and rent and not treat his time in America like a big party.

David thought Kobe had good intentions, but he wasn't convinced love would be enough for this couple to thrive and prosper.

PATRICK and THAIS

Patrick was upset Thais had acted unappreciative and ungrateful when they moved into their new house in Dallas. Patrick's brother John also noticed the behavior and found it worrisome and annoying.

"I don't want to have all these issues. It's just a lot," Patrick noted.

John advised Patrick to "man up" and stop sharing his phone location with Thais. Patrick asked Thais to join him for dinner and he planned to explain how he really felt.

"I don't want to go into a marriage with someone who doesn't trust me," Patrick noted.

Patrick gave Thais a "welcome to America" present at the restaurant and it was a box filled with lingerie as well as an iPhone. But Patrick said she needed to stop having his location constantly since they were living together her now. Thais didn’t like the fact Patrick had an ulterior motive for giving her a gift.

Patrick said her following him all the time gave him "anxiety" and he wanted the love of his life to trust him.

Patrick then revealed he had spoken to a girl in the very beginning of his relationship with Thais after they had gotten together. Thais accused Patrick of hooking up with this girl, but Patrick insisted they had only kissed, which he thought was different from having sex with someone.

Patrick told the cameras that after he went to Brazil and met Thais for the first time, he and John hosted a party at their house and Patrick made out with a girl when he was drunk -- but "nothing happened."

Patrick said he felt bad about the incident because he had already told Thais by that point that he loved her, and he called it a really confusing time.

"I haven't made anything even close to that mistake since then," Patrick said.

But Thais claimed that six months into their relationship, she had caught Patrick looking at this "ugly" woman's Instagram account, which Patrick apologized for.

Thais said Patrick had told the woman that he missed her and wanted to have dinner with her, which is something Thais wasn't easily able to forget. She called the situation "difficult," even though Patrick didn't betray her trust again.

Patrick insisted Thais was "perfect" for him and it was "impossible" that he'd want to be with another woman again. However, Thais had deep rooted insecurities and trust issues, revealing that her father -- despite being a great person -- had cheated on her mother.

Thais explained how a situation like that couldn't happen again and if he deceived her, she would go back to Brazil. Thais said Patrick would not receive another chance if he lost her trust again, and she said she'd keep her eyes on him.

Patrick wanted Thais to forgive him for the mistakes he had made in the past.

But just as things were going well, John revealed he was throwing a house-warming party that evening for his new co-workers and some friends, which included a big group of women.

Patrick started to freak out since he and Thais were trying to build trust in their relationship. Patrick clearly felt uncomfortable and figured Thais felt the same way.

Thais said she's conservative in the home and likes to feel at peace when at home, and so she was ready to kick everybody to the curb and out of the house.

Thais called the girls at the party "ugly" and told Patrick that she'd be watching him, but Patrick said he only had eyes for her.

It was an opportunity for Thais to trust Patrick, who kissed Thais in the kitchen in front of the whole group.

KARA and GUILLERMO

Guillermo was starting to feel the pressure of marrying Kara and getting their paperwork done, but he said he already felt like a family with Kara and their dog Cheeky.

Kara wanted to have a quick courthouse ceremony because it would be cheap and then have a big, dream wedding about a year later.

Kara didn't think planning a huge wedding would be possible in 90 days, and she also noted how they didn't have the savings to do that.

However, Guillermo thought they'd always be saving money for something, such as welcoming children or moving into a bigger house. He didn't want to go two years without a real wedding, and so he pushed Kara to do the big wedding right away.

Guillermo thought $2,000 would do the trip, but Kara gave Guillermo a reality check by saying the venue itself could cost around $10,000. Guillermo didn't like hearing "no" all the time, and he added, "I just want to be with the same person I fell in love with."

Kara said their relationship roles reversed given Guillermo had taken care of her in the Dominican Republic and was able to take her places and lead her around. In America, Kara felt the decisions were on her shoulders.

"You are not my mom here to tell me yes or not. We are going together to see [a venue] and we together will make a choice on if we do it or not... You don't know sh-t," Guillermo griped.

Kara was bothered by the fact Guillermo treated her like a dream squasher, especially since she believed she was just being practical and realistic.

With 59 days to wed, Kara brought Guillermo to a beautiful farm so Guillermo could get an idea of how much things were going to cost.

Guillermo didn't think Kara cared about his opinion, and he accused her of wanting to control every little thing. He was still upset about how Kara wouldn't even let him buy a computer with his own money.

Guillermo said he wanted to cry when looking around the venue because it was so beautiful, but the pricing came as a big shock to him. The venue was between $7,5000-$10,000 plus a caterer, florist, cake, photographer and more.

Guillermo realized they couldn't afford the venue, and a wedding coordinator suggested they should push the wedding off and save money in the meantime.

Guillermo also told Kara that it bothered him when Kara made plans without him with her friends. Kara said she'd never bail on her friends but she'd try not to speak for him going forward.

Kara thought she couldn't win and wondered by Guillermo continued to bring up the same issues. She wondered if she'd be able to make Guillermo happy in the long run, and she was starting to think that Guillermo didn't love her for her.

YVE and MOHAMED

Yve, a very independent woman who had taken care of herself most of her life, was very stressed out over all the rules Mohamed had been setting for her. She wanted to be able to spend time with her friends and dress how she wanted, for the most part.

Yve was teary-eyed, telling Mohamed that her friends were worried about her.

"They don't want me to lose who I am," Yve explained.

Mohamed didn't want Yve's friends to spill "poison into the honey," and Yve said she was trying to navigate pleasing Mohamed and pleasing herself. She said she had no intention of converting to Islam, but Mohamed asked her not to connect his religion with who she is.

Mohamed felt judged and offended by Yve's friends, but she admitted that she felt the same way as they did.

Yve admitted Mohamed's religion was "too confining" for her and she didn't want to abbreviate herself for anyone, but he didn't think this made any sense.

Mohamed said he had been clear with Yve about everything, but she said he needed to accept her as an American woman -- someone who is not Islamic or Muslin. Mohamed thought Yve's friends were planting these ideas in her head, but she insisted that wasn't true at all.

Yve said she and Mohamed had never discussed specifics about Mohamed's expectations, but Mohamed said he had made who he is very clear. Yve, however, argued that she had never seen Mohamed day-in and day-out and how he would act on a normal daily basis.

Mohamed believed Yve had been ready to start a new life, but that clearly wasn't the case.

Mohamed had no intention to change himself, and he told the cameras that if Yve wasn't going to accept him for who he is, then he would leave America and return home. He accused Yve of wasting his time, which appeared to really upset her.
