90 Day Fiance star Fernanda Flores claims her estranged husband Jonathan Rivera has been lying about why the couple has split.

Jonathan originally announced the couple's split on Instagram on New Year's Eve.
In a lengthy exchange with his followers in which he posted over 40 comments, Jonathan claimed he chose to end the relationship after Fernanda "left and then quickly had a change of heart" following an argument and he then "decided I didn't want someone who was so quick to give up on everything I worked so hard to provide."
In a subsequent interview with In Touch Weekly published on January 10, Jonathan said he still hadn't spoken to Fernanda since December 22.
"I have a lot going on and so in the midst of all the craziness, I try to focus on what's important," he told the magazine.
The estranged couple's Sunday exchange on social media began when Jonathan posted an Instagram photo and captioned it, "If you travel the path of happiness, that’s all that matters in the end...#live #life #travel #love."
One of Jonathan's followers then commented on the posting and urged Jonathan to try and work things out with Fernanda.
"If you live your wife, you should go after her. She did not cheat on you, don't drown in a glass of water, those problems are so small comparing to others," the commenter wrote.
"Just because she wants to model you guys are not together anymore, I think is silly. [You] guys promised to be together in bad times and the good times. Remember that."

However, Jonathan replied back and made it clear he wasn't interested in the commenter's opinion.

But Fernanda then joined the conversation and posted a lengthy response of her own in which she challenged Jonathan's comments and claimed he has been lying about the reasons behind the couple's split.
"I remember being in the relationship, I know exactly what happen, I recognized my mistakes, I say sorry," she wrote. "Also remember the real reasons why 'leave' that wasn't the reasons you tell people."
"The real reasons that you're hiding from yourself because you want to believe your own lies and don't take responsibility of anything and be the good one," she continued.
Fernanda then also addressed Jonathan's claim that he's lost a piece of himself that he'll never get back and suggested he has rejected her attempts to contact him the last several weeks.
"There is a piece of you that is gone? Yeah! It call[ed] reality," she wrote.
"I didn't want to say anything on social media but is the only thing that [matters] to you. You ignore my messages but I'm pretty sure that [you're] not going to ignore this comment in your Instagram! I hope your fame last[s] forever."

"Who likes to hear the true? First time that I say something. I got blocked! Very mature," she wrote in the Sunday night tweet.
