A&E has formally announced that it has renewed Gene Simmons Family Jewels, a reality series that follows the legendary Kiss front-man and his unconventional family, for a second season.

Seventeen-year-old Nick is currently a senior at Wildwood Secondary High School in Los Angeles, where he rocks the classroom, particularly in literature, humanities and science. He hopes to produce his own illustrated novel as a senior project, enjoys girls and the macabre, is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and has also done voiceover work for Cartoon Network's Robot Chicken, his favorite show. His sister, 14-year-old Sophie, is a ninth-grade scholar/athlete at Wildwood, where she plays volleyball and excels in the classroom. Sophie also enjoys drama, snowboarding, swimming, riding her horse Pablo and writing music.
Robert Sharenow and Didi OHearn are the A&E executive producers. Gene Simmons Family Jewels is produced for A&E by The Greif Company/A Day With, Inc and the Gene Simmons Company. Gene Simmons, Leslie Greif, and Adam Reed are the series executive producers.
