A&E has announced it's canceling Intervention after 243 interventions and its final fourteenth season will begin airing on Thursday, June 13 at 9PM ET/PT.

Intervention's final episodes will continue to follow the life of addicts and give viewers an inside look at the impact addictions have on everyday life. After documenting an addict's struggles, friends and family members meet with professional interventionists Jeff Van Vonderen, Candy Finnigan, Donna Chavous, or Ken Seeley to urge the addict to get treatment.
The premiere of Intervention's concluding season, which will air over five episodes, will feature Jessica, a 29-year-old woman who lives in an abandoned house without electricity or running water in Chicago and has an addiction to injecting heroin. The drug had been introduced to her by her own father.
The rest of the series' fourteenth edition will also chronicle Dana, a mother addicted to painkillers and crack cocaine following a "tragic fire;" Gina, a 34-year-old woman who uses heroin to forget her past; Kaila, a young girl suffering from an eating disorder; Ryan, a 23-year-old who copes with his mother's suicide by using drugs; and Eric, a junkie who "hustles, steals and pawns" for money in order to buy a fix, according to A&E.
Intervention is produced by GRB Entertainment with McKillop, Elaine Frontain Bryant, Brad Holcman, Gary R. Benz, Michael Branton, and Dan Partland serving as executive producers.
