ABC has revealed the identities of the 25 women who will compete for the affection of Jason Mesnick on the thirteenth installment of The Bachelor, which will premiere Monday, January 5 at 8:00PM ET/PT.

Mesnick, a 32-year-old estate and legacy planning account executive who was rejected by DeAnna Pappas in favor of Jesse Csinsak during this past summer's fourth edition of The Bachelorette, will be the first single father in the ABC dating reality show's history.

Also, for the first time in The Bachelor history, four of the season's 25 bachelorettes will be single mothers.

The Bachelor's thirteenth season will begin with a two-hour premiere in which Mesnick will return to the same Los Angeles mansion that served as the setting for Pappas' The Bachelorette edition.

Mesnick will then meet the 25 bachelorettes -- who will immediately begin using some bizarre techniques to attempt to impress him, such as one bachelorette who will boast that she can find out a lot about a man from the condiments he puts on his hot dog and another who has already planned out her future with Mesnick by creating a "vision board."
   
The premiere will also feature a twist in which each of the women will be asked to vote for the bachelorette they would "like to see leave immediately."  The episode will then conclude with Mesnick presenting one of the 25 women with the show's "first impression" rose and then eliminating 10 of the 25 women from the competition. 

Beginning January 12, The Bachelor will settle into Dancing with the Stars' current Monday night time period and air 90-minute episodes from 8-9:30 PM ET/PT. As with previous The Bachelor editions, Chris Harrison will serve as the show's host.

The 25 bachelorettes appearing on the thirteenth season of The Bachelor are:

- Emily, a 23-year-old casino marketing representative from Seattle, WA

- Erica, a 25-year-old account executive from Monroe, CT

- Jackie, a 26-year-old wedding coordinator from Dallas, TX

- Jillian, a 29-year-old interior designer from Peace River, Alberta, Canada

- Julie, a 26-year-old teacher from Columbus, OH

- Kari, a 27-year-old advertising executive from Lee's Summit, MO

- Lauren, a 27-year-old teacher from Malboro, NJ

- Lisa, a 27-year-old public relations associate from Boise, ID

- Megan, a 25-year-old lacrosse coach and single mom from Sewickley, PA

- Melissa, a 25-year-old sales representative from Dallas, TX

- Molly, a 24-year-old department store buyer from Grand Rapids, MI

- Naomi, a 24-year-old flight attendant from Carlsbad, CA

- Natalie, a 27-year-old human resources associate from Morton, IL

- Nicole, a 25-year-old menswear buyer from Calgary, Alberta, Canada

- Nikki, a 29-year-old administrative assistant from Blue Island, IL

- Raquel, a 27-year-old medical student from Recife, Brazil

- Renee, a 36-year-old jewelry designer from Los Angeles, CA

- Shannon, a 29-year-old dental hygienist from Marshall, MO

- Sharon, a 32-year-old teacher from Batavia, NY
