Bachelor in Paradise welcomed Wells Adams and Jami Letain into the mix, eliminated three bachelors and watched the twins Emily Ferguson and Haley Ferguson quit during Monday night's broadcast on ABC.

The Bachelor in Paradise episode began with Caila Quinn talking to Ashley Iaconetti about Jared Haibon.
Caila acknowledged Ashley would always be important to Jared because "he loves you like a sister," but Ashley thought that was the rudest possible thing she could say.
"Caila is a backstabbing whore of a friend and I'm just, like, 'Leave me the f-ck alone,'" Ashley said.
Ashley then cried to Jared about how "demoralizing" it was to watch him date Caila and how she felt really stupid. It was hard for her, but Jared laid down the law and said he really liked Caila and wanted to pursue their relationship.
Ashley wished a distraction would arrive and that the spirit of her dog Lucy, who recently passed away, would help her on this journey. And that's when Wells arrived.
Ashley appeared ecstatic because she thought he was really cute. Wells was supposed to ask someone out who "shares his passions," and everyone in Paradise tried to throw Ashley on Wells. Because of that, he ended up asking Ashley out on his date, and everyone cheered.
When Ashley left for her date, Caila felt she could finally put her relationship with Jared first. At this point, she saw potential to fall in love with him because she thought he was silly, quirky and goofy. It wasn't just "the idea" of Jared that Caila liked.
On Ashley and Wells' date, they ate tacos and bonded over feeding a hungry stray dog. Wells, however, didn't want to be the guy she used to make Jared jealous, so Ashley promised him that wasn't the case. Ashley just didn't like how Jared declined to admit they had been "more than friends" over the last year.
Ashley discovered she really liked Wells, and although she wasn't good at flirting, she tried her best and got a kiss out of the night. They had a connection and Wells thought Ashley was "strikingly beautiful." They also sweetly complimented each other's smiles.
Ashley found herself only thinking about Wells, which was probably a relief for him, everyone in Paradise and viewers at home. Ashley even confessed she had more of an attraction and chemistry with Wells than she ever did with Jared.
At the end of their date, Ashley and Wells made a wish and then released a fire lantern. They were optimistic and thought the event would bring them luck, but little did they know, the lantern blew up and crashed to the ground once they left the scene. That must be a bad omen.

Ashley was excited to be interested in a guy who finally showed interest in her.
Meanwhile, Lace Morris flirted with Carl in the pool right in front of Grant Kemp. After requesting something from him and Carl declining, Lace said, "Good luck getting a rose tomorrow," as if she'd give her rose to someone other than Grant.
Grant walked away from the situation knowing that Lace was trying to piss him off and make him jealous. He felt disrespected and said Lace was going out of her way to put a wall up.
"Have fun finding love with someone else because I'm not going to put up with this," Lace said to Grant, who was upset about the Carl situation. "Maybe we need to reconsider our relationship."
Amanda Stanton explained that Lace probably felt like she didn't deserve such a great guy and so she was trying to sabotage the relationship in order to not get hurt.
That ended up being the case, but Grant was willing to fight for her since she's worth it, and Lace apologized for threatening to leave and saying hurtful things she didn't mean. After all, Grant has found love in Paradise.
There will probably be more ups and downs for Lace and Grant, as Nick Viall commented that they argue all the time and are one fight away "from total destruction."
Meanwhile, Nick told the cameras he liked Jennifer Saviano, that she's not a big personality but she's not timid either. She apparently kept up with Nick, and the physical attraction was definitely there.

As Josh argued over the situation, Amanda was fast asleep in another bed. Josh seemed mad that Amanda wanted to sleep alone and not spend the night with him, so he woke her up to see what the deal was, and she explained she was simply very tired.
"Alright. Good talk. Good talk," Josh said with sarcasm as he walked away from her.
Before the Rose Ceremony, Carl, Ryan and Daniel knew they were on the chopping block. Izzy Goodkind was really hitting it off with Brett Melnick at this point. Emily had gone on a date with Carl, and Haley was sort of dating Ryan, but neither of the girls were head over heels for the men.
Lace also began opening her heart up to Grant. She realized they complemented each other so well, and she didn't want to run away from something great. The situation was just like Carly Waddell and Evan Bass' romance, as it took time for Carly to embrace Evan's qualities and gain strong feelings for him.
"I'm totally falling in love with you," Evan told Carly.
"I'm falling in love with you too," Carly said, telling the cameras afterward that she didn't expect to feel this way about Evan and the whole ordeal was "weird" because she was actually falling in love with "the penis man."
In attempt to get a rose, Daniel then put together a platter of fried food for one of the twins. He also gave Izzy a lamp he believed was better than the one Brett brought with him to Paradise. Daniel gushed about how it was "expensive" and an "antique," and Izzy just went along with the joke.
Brett was convinced his relationship with Izzy was going great, so he wasn't that worried about Daniel.
Meanwhile, Josh explained to the cameras he didn't want to rush the physical part of his relationship with Amanda. He then told Amanda he was falling in love with her, that he adored her qualities on the inside -- such as the fact she's so caring -- as well as her obvious beauty on the outside.
Amanda told Josh that she was also falling in love with him, and the couple sealed the deal with a kiss.
Despite the fact Amanda thought she was living out a fairy tale, Emily and Haley -- her best friends -- had their concerns about Josh. They didn't like how Josh flipped out just because Amanda didn't warn him that she was going to bed early. They didn't think it was mature of him at all.
The twins then pulled Nick aside to chat and pick his brain about Josh. When asked to share his opinion, Nick said everyone would view his perspective as "biased" since the two guys have history fighting over the same girl. Josh previously won Andi Dorfman's heart on The Bachelorette, and Nick finished as the runner-up.

Nick noted it was hard to believe Andi wrote "a fictional book" about Josh since there were "accurate things" about himself in it. Nick wondered if Josh came on Paradise to repair his image after Andi's book was released, questioning whether or not it was a coincidence he chose to go after Amanda, "the sweetest girl ever."
Nick thought the sequence of events was very "convenient" because dating Amanda made Josh look great. The twins trusted and believed what Nick had to say, and they didn't want to see their best friend get hurt. Emily and Haley definitely weren't sure what Josh's intentions were.
At the Rose Ceremony -- when the ladies were in charge -- Carly gave her rose to Evan, Ashley gave her rose to Wells, Jen gave her rose to Nick, Izzy gave her rose to Brett, Caila gave her rose to Jared, Lace gave her rose to Grant, and then Amanda gave her rose to Josh.
Emily and Haley announced they failed to find love and therefore wanted to go home as to not lead any guys on. The girls didn't think it would be fair to pass out roses when their hearts weren't in the game, and they cried over the idea of Paradise coming to an end.
Ryan, Carl and Daniel were eliminated as a result. On the twins' way out, they pulled Amanda aside to talk. They warned Amanda that "stuff" in Andi's book is probably true to a certain extent because Josh has already shown bits and pieces of that behavior.
Emily and Haley told Amanda that Josh clearly had a temper and was simply trying to control it in this setting. Amanda cried and was so confused. The girls asked her to trust them without revealing Nick as the source.
The twins also told Amanda about Josh potentially wanting to fix his damaged reputation by dating the girl with the best reputation, "America's sweetheart." Haley and Emily asked Amanda to ask hard questions and direct questions about the book.
Josh then approached Amanda when she was crying. After saying she didn't want to talk, Amanda eventually came clean about the twins' concerns. All the negativity meant more coming from them.
Josh was so frustrated, telling Amanda that believing Andi's book would be like opening up a gossip magazine and believing every word, which is "absolutely ludicrous." Josh was angry Andi and her book were getting more publicity, claiming that's all she wants.
Josh insisted that for the last six months, he had been taking care of his dog who's battling cancer. Josh said he never went out, did anything or tried to meet anyone, which is why he joined Paradise. Josh promised Amanda he wanted to find a wife and start a family as soon as possible.
Josh told Amanda that in her heart, she knew what the truth was. Amanda didn't understand how she could trust Josh whole-heartedly when no one else did. Because Amanda was so upset, Josh flipped out again.

Josh said he didn't need to be on the show but he came looking for love and a serious relationship. Josh then asked people to speak up who had a problem with him, and Nick announced he's not sure whether Josh was being honest and genuine.
Nick said he had concerns, like how Josh preached about being a man and confronting people but did the exact opposite when he stole Amanda away after they had just been on a date. Nick was surprised by the way Josh handled that, and then Josh scolded him, saying it's not his fault Amanda doesn't like Nick.
As Josh yelled, Nick asked him to calm down. Nick said he wasn't holding any type of grudge and hoped Josh was being genuine for Amanda's sake. Nick had doubts and even confessed that Josh is probably "full of sh-t."
As alleged proof, Nick brought up Andi's book and how Josh has claimed it's a "fictional story." Nick said the things Andi wrote about him were not fiction, so it didn't make sense that everything written about Josh would be untrue.
Josh ignored that topic entirely and went after Amanda. Josh threatened Nick, saying, "You need to hope everything is good between us." Nick assumed Josh wanted to murder him and noted how Josh was still really intense even when he was trying to remain calm.
Josh packed his bags and threatened to leave the show as Amanda cried with her girls. It was the fourth warning Amanda had received from friends -- Evan, Nick, Izzy and now the twins.
However, Amanda decided to believe Josh and ignore everyone's doubts. Amanda told Josh she knew the information in the book wasn't true and she was tired of people telling her whom she should be with. Amanda apologized for questioning Josh even for a second and said she wanted to defend him going forward.
The couple considered leaving, but Amanda wanted to stay. Amanda didn't want to leave just because other people were talking badly about their relationship. She didn't want to give them the satisfaction. Josh agreed to stay in Paradise with her and for her.
Amanda told the cameras she wasn't given specific examples about what Josh had done, so it was nearly impossible for her to just turn her feelings off and distance herself from him. Amanda considered herself a "good judge of character," and although Josh showed his temper a little bit, Amanda said it was warranted in that situation.
The following day, Wells woke up and was alone because the rest of the cast was sleeping. Jami Letain then arrived with a Date Card, and she had her eye on Wells even before entering Paradise. She therefore asked him on a date, and he accepted her invitation.
Although he liked Ashley, Wells didn't want to have regrets at the end of the show in that he didn't get to know someone or give someone a chance. He did worry, however, knowing that Ashley is an "emotionally fragile human being."

For their date, Wells and Jami went riding in a dune buggy through the mud and had a blast. They also kissed by a waterfall and talked about superhero comics. Wells thought Jami was gorgeous and down to earth, noting that she's similar to him.
Likewise, Jami told the cameras that Wells was "funny and cool" and they just "got each other."
Meanwhile, Ashley sat down with Caila and asked her not to full-on make out with Jared in front of her. Caila could tell she wasn't over Jared, but Ashley said she was happy with where she was mentally.
Caila asked Ashley if she was wrong by asking Jared out on a date when she entered Paradise, and Ashley didn't answer. Caila asked if Ashley wanted her to go home, and Ashley just kept saying that she didn't trust her and had her doubts when it came to Caila's feelings for Jared.
Caila cried to the cameras because she didn't need to stay in Paradise since she didn't need attention. Caila went on the show looking for love and only cared about what Jared thought about her. However, she was incredibly uncomfortable trying to date Jared with her old friend Ashley hanging around.
"There is so much baggage here and it's walking around with red lipstick," Caila said of Ashley in a confessional.
The episode concluded with Caila telling Jared she wanted to leave.
