Bachelor Pad eliminated Gia Allemand and Jonathan "Weatherman" Novack during Monday night's broadcast of the third episode of The Bachelor franchise's new Big Brother-like reality competition in which former bachelor and bachelorettes compete for a $250,000 cash prize.

Gia, a former The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love bachelorette, was eliminated based on votes cast by Bachelor Pad's six remaining former The Bachelorette bachelors while Jonathan, a former sixth-season The Bachelorette bachelor, was ousted based on voting by the competition's nine remaining former The Bachelor bachelorettes.

Bachelor Pad's third episode began with the 15 remaining contestants arguing about the five "outsider" bachelorettes -- Gia, Gwen Gioia, Krisily Kennedy, Nikki Kaapke, and Peyton Wright -- unsuccessful attempt to vote off Kiptyn Locke and take control of the game during the competition's second elimination vote due to Nikki's failure to follow through with her promise to Gia, the group's de-facto leader.

"The outsiders messed up... [David Good], Kiptyn and I have a lot of power.  The guys are voting off the girls  and that means Gia is definitely on the chopping block," Jesse Kovacs said afterwards.

"I think that Kiptyn, David and Kovacs are going to try and vote me off, because they all know that I wanted to vote Kiptyn off so they are seeing me as a threat now," Gia lamented.

The following day, the contestants participated in a pair of kissing contests -- one in which each bachelor was blindfolded and kissed by each bachelorette and another in which the bachelorettes were blindfolded and kissed by the bachelors.  Ashley Elmore opted to sit out of the contest, concerned that it wasn't appropriate given she was a schoolteacher and she was eventually joined by Gia, who decided the kissing was getting too sensual for her comfort given she had a boyfriend back home.

David and Peyton won the contests, giving them immunity from the competition's third elimination vote, as well as the ability to select three opposite-sex contestants to accompany them on private dates in which they would then award an immunity rose to one of the three contestants they selected.

David then selected Nikki, Krisily and Natalie Getz to accompany him on a date to a Las Vegas resort casino while Peyton selected Kiptyn, Jesse Kovacs and Jesse Beck for her date to a local racetrack where they got to drag race. 

Once they were on their dates they also learned that each date also featured an overnight fantasy suite in which David and Peyton would be able to spend the night with whoever received their immunity rose.

David ended up giving his immunity rose to Natalie, the show's serial flirt, and Peyton gave hers to Jesse Beck, who she struck up a romance with during her date.

"Jessie B. is hot... I think there's a spark beginning to happen there," she said afterwards.

"I think we're both attracted to each other, there's something there," Jesse Beck added.

During her date, Peyton also decided that Jesse Kovacs was probably someone she wanted to ally with.

"I think Kovacs is great with all the guys in the house and is a bit persuasive when they are deciding as a group," she said.  "So I think that he would be a great person to have on your side."

Meanwhile, back at the house, Gia continued developing feelings for Wes Hayden despite having a boyfriend back home.

"I've never met a person in my life like that boy, he's so talented and he's such a beautiful person," she gushed after Wed serenaded her with a performance of his "Love Don't Come Easy Song" that he allegedly originally wrote for The Bachelorette star Jillian Harris.  "He's like the modern day Shakespeare, but better and cuter!"

"I think Wes is one of the most amazing people I've ever met in my life.  I have my honey at home that I love with all my heart and I never expected to meet someone that I thought was so amazing.  I am just a confused girl, that's what I am.  I'm just confused."

In addition, Tenley Molzahn decided to surprise Kiptyn in his bed and spend time with him but was rebuffed.

"I feel that Tenley feels I may not giving her enough time or spending enough time together, but hanging around with Tenley put a target on my back and I almost went home because of it so I'm trying to be a bit refrained," he explained afterwards.  "Hugging and cuddling is probably only going to make people think moreso that we're dating and I didn't want to put fuel on the fire."

However, Tenley was upset by his decision.

"I'm so embarrassed, I'm terrible embarrassed -- I got rejected," she lamented to Natalie.

"I think Kiptyn likes Tenley as more than a friend.  A lot of people disagree with me, but I think that he does," Natalie said afterwards.  There's a competition involved, so he has to choose he moves wisely with her."

Prior to the cocktail voting party, Wes decided that he was going to do anything he could to prevent his fellow bachelors from voting off Gia.

"It just kind of happened, I didn't come to the house looking to fall in love," he said. "I feel it's the makings of something really good and I'll do anything and everything it takes for Gia to save in the game."

Wes then unsuccessfully attempted to convince Kiptyn and Jesse Kovacs that one of them would be going home next week if they didn't join Jonathan and himself in voting Elizabeth Kitt -- Jesse Kovacs' in-game girlfriend -- out of the game. 

Although she had attempted to vote him off at the last vote ceremony, Gia also approached Kiptyn to plea that he keep her.

However she was also unsuccessful -- resulting in a 3-3 tie vote in which David cast the tiebreaker as the week's bachelor contest winner.

"I sent Gia home.  As far as I'm concerned, it was well deserved.  I was put in that situation tonight, which obviously I don't think anybody wants to be in, but I did what I had to do.  Wes, I consider him a close friend, and for him to put me in that situation is just real two-faced of him," David said afterward.

Wes and Gia were both disappointed to see their nascent Bachelor Pad romance end.

"I'm not happy right now.  I didn't have any idea that I'd get so close to some of the people that I have, and that I would actually be so emotional and attached.," Gia said afterwards.  "If I wouldn't have gone home tonight, I would have told Wes how I felt.  I don't think Wes knows really how I feel.  The money, it's not everything.  I'm an emotional wreck right now -- I'm worse than on The Bachelor."

"My hear sunk, somebody went home tonight that didn't deserve to go home tonight.  If Gia had stuck around for another week there's no telling what could have happened, I think we were already falling for each other.  If I win 250 grand I will definitely be on a plane to New York in a heartbeat," Wes said.

Although Gia and Jonathan seemed to convince Ashley, Krisily and Gwen to join Gia in voting for Jesse Kovacs, they apparently weren't able to convince Peyton to also join them, resulting in Jonathan's elimination.

"Pretty much, I did everything I could.  Stupid is rampant in this freaking world and unfortunately it just got me kicked off this show," Jonathan said afterward.  "This game is like love and life amplified and compacted in the Bachelor Pad.  I came here looking for money and maybe some love, and I went home with neither one."
