Last night's Big Brother episode began with Vanessa Rousso saying she loved the twins but the better strategic move for her game was breaking them up, especially since they were also so tight with Austin Matelson.
Liz and Julia both wanted to sacrifice their game for one another. Liz told Julia it was her time to shine because she had given up her identity for half the game to advance Liz along. Julia, on the other hand, said Liz deserved to stay and play the game because she was behind most of the strategy and had won many Head of Household competitions.
Julia believed Liz had a better shot at winning. So one thing was for sure -- Liz and Julia weren't going to campaign against one another for votes to survive.
Vanessa realized she was going to be a swing vote because John McGuire wanted to get rid of Liz, while Austin wanted to oust Julia.
Liz and Austin talked about how Vanessa probably wanted to evict Liz from the house because she was seemingly the only person who wouldn't take Vanessa to the Final 2. They agreed Liz was the one person Vanessa couldn't control.
Vanessa became wishy-washy about whom to evict because Julia asked the house to save her sister, however, Liz would be tough to beat in the end and performed well in competitions. Vanessa didn't want to make more enemies, but she also didn't want to piss Steve Moses off, whose goal was to get out Liz.
Weighing the pros and cons, Vanessa thought it would be best to make a deal with Austin and Liz. For keeping Liz in the house, Vanessa asked the pair to keep her off the block next week, allow her to choose who goes home next, and take her to the Final 2 if they couldn't go to the end together.
Austin and Liz both agreed to Vanessa's deal but Liz, especially, had no intention to honor any of that. In fact, Liz thought it was ridiculous Vanessa was asking for so many things.
After 85 days in the house, Julia was evicted. Julia told Big Brother host Julie Chen she definitely approves of Liz and Austin's relationship.
The episode ended with the next HoH competition called "Under the Rainbow."
The players had to maneuver eggs one at a time through a course and over a rainbow to the pot of gold on the other side. The first person to land 10 eggs in his or her pot of gold, would win HoH. A luxury prize -- a trip outside of the Big Brother house -- was also up for grabs, but going after it could hinder becoming the new HoH.
