Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, is apparently in love with the pictures taken for her 22-page spread in Vanity Fair's July issue.

After undergoing a 10-hour facial-feminization surgery as well as a breast augmentation in March, Bruce dressed as a woman and presented himself to the world as Caitlyn with the help of famous photographer Annie Leibovitz. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, and now Caitlyn is weighing in on the finished product.

"The reaction was absolutely amazing... I mean these pictures -- Annie, Vanity Fair, spared nothing doing it right, and the wardrobe, everything involved with it were just, the people were just great. It was, you know, two of the best days of my life. The pictures came out over-the-top great," Caitlyn told Vanity Fair in a long excerpt released early from the magazine.

Caitlyn said she worried about looking like "a guy in drag." She absolutely didn't want that to happen.

"You never wanted to look like a guy in a dress, okay, if you're going to do that, come out, you really have to look the part. You have to look very feminine, you have to be able to, what I call my presentation is extremely important because it puts people at ease... they're just comfortable being around you," Caitlyn explained.

"And Vanity Fair, I think that when they see the pictures, the images, and all that kind of stuff, learn your name, people will probably go, 'My God, why didn't you do this earlier?' To be able to wake up in the morning, be yourself, get dressed, get ready to go out, and just be like a normal person. That's a wonderful feeling to go through life."

Caitlyn noted Bruce was never able to do that because there was so much confusion in his life. Bruce had a closet with men's clothes on one side and women's clothes on the other.

"[Up] to this point... Bruce would wear, you know, sweatshirts with hoods on them so paparazzi can't get pictures and all that kind of crap, and I didn't want them to see if my fingernails were polished or, you know, on and on and on. It was just hell," she told the magazine.

Now, Caitlyn's closet is just filled with items fit for a lady.

When diving in deeper than just her amazing appearance on a surface level, Caitlyn strongly believes she's a better, nicer, more generous person than Bruce used to be.

For example, Caitlyn has had letters pouring in from people all over the world who either want to show her support or share their similar stories with the 65-year-old former Olympian. Caitlyn has responded to many of these letters, and she's even gone as far as calling one trans woman.

"I read every one of [the letters], a lot of them I answer... Bruce never would have called [a fan]; but anyway, Caitlyn calls," she said, adding that her full transition is exciting rather than scary.

Caitlyn was hoping for the public's reaction to be "holy crap" upon viewing her first set of photos as a woman, and I think she's gotten her wish.

"[I look] over-the-top better than I thought it would ever be, especially at my age. You know, you think it's kind of over with at that age. And seeing [one] image [of me in a black dress] was powerful... And I kind of looked at it and said, 'You know what, this is going to work, we're going to be okay with this.' So yeah, we move forward. I am so excited about the future," she explained.

Caitlyn confessed the few days she spent shooting her Vanity Fair spread were "better" than what it felt like to win an Olympic gold medal.
