Caitlyn Jenner fears winding up in a men's jail if she faces any prison time for her February car crash that resulted in the death of a 69-year-old woman.

During a recent interview with the Today show's Matt Lauer, Jenner said she remembers "very little" about the deadly four-vehicle crash on California's Pacific Coast Highway when her Cadillac SUV rear-ended another vehicle to trigger a chain reaction of collisions.

"I remember it happening. That's about it," Jenner said, adding that she's currently "in litigation" so she cannot openly discuss the case.

Investigators say speed might've been a factor in the accident as they're weighing a possible misdemeanor manslaughter charge for the I Am Cait star, who could spend a year in a county jail if convicted.

"The media wants that picture, don't they?" Jenner asked with a big chuckle.

"That is the worst case scenario. I don't know. We'll see. The men's county jail. It is an enormous problem -- that they would put transwomen in a men's county jail. Yeah. Yeah. But those are things we're looking into, you know?"

Jenner, however, claimed she did not violate any traffic laws.

"I was under the speed limit. I was doing 46[mph] in a 50 and my airbag didn't even go off," Jenner explained to Lauer. "All I needed was probably a half a second of time. I almost stopped [my car], but couldn't quite get it stopped. I was pulling a trailer. I wasn't speeding or anything like that."

Details aside, Jenner admitted it was a horrible "tragedy" that she'll "never get over."

"Something like this... You just learn to live with it the best you possibly can," she noted.

The second part of Lauer's Today show interview with Jenner airs Thursday on NBC.
