CBS has announced it has ordered Got to Dance, a new reality competition series that will feature dancers of any age, group-size and style.

The series will start with the amateur dancers auditioning for a yet-to-be-picked judging panel -- who will ultimately determine who moves on to the semifinals and finals, which will air live and allow home viewers to vote for the winner.

Got to Dance is based on a U.K. reality series with the same name. It was created by Princess Productions and Shine TV and will be produced by Reveille.

Audition information will be announced at a later date.

While CBS has to select its judges, the network has "expressed some interest" in former American Idol judge Paula Abdul, The Hollywood Reporter reported Wednesday.

Abdul has been a hot commodity as of late, as she's reportedly in talks with NBC to star in a new reality series in which she and High School Musical director Kenny Ortega would choreograph mass dances in public locations.

Last week, she reportedly spurned ABC's offer to serve as a host and judge on an upcoming Star Search revival.
