Chris Harrison has made it known he thinks Tyler Cameron is a good guy, but that apparently doesn't mean he thinks Hannah Brown's The Bachelorette runner-up would make a good The Bachelor star.

While Chris praises Tyler for living up the single life after getting his heart broken on The Bachelorette's fifteenth season, the longtime host of the franchise told Entertainment Tonight that Tyler's recent dating behavior may impact his chances of becoming the next The Bachelor star.
Tyler's recent activities "would definitely weigh into conversation" for ABC and The Bachelorette producers about which guy should serve as the next leading man, according to Chris.
"[This is] why we're waiting [to announce the Bachelor]. Let's see how these guys react. Let's see who really is sincere at the end of the day, because we do have a couple of months before we have to start production and really get into this, so we have time," Chris told ET.
"If Tyler is bouncing around from girl to girl and loving the life and enjoying the limelight -- which, by the way, good on him. That's fine."
Chris added, "If that's what you want to do right now, I don't blame him. He's probably enjoying life really, really well -- but that's not someone we're going to want to have as our Bachelor or Bachelorette."
Chris said it's all about "sincerity" at the end of the day and whether a man is truly ready to find love and potentially get engaged.
"It's about where you are in your life," Chris explained. "And if that's where he is in his life, then he's not the guy for us."

Chris confirmed Peter Weber and Mike Johnson from The Bachelorette's latest season are definitely up for discussion for the leading role.
Although Peter and Mike didn't make it as far on Hannah's season as Tyler did, they were both entertaining and fan-favorites.

Nick Viall recently asked Tyler whether he'd be interesting in starring as the Bachelor during an episode of his Viall Files podcast.
"I don't know, I'm all over the map about that one," Tyler told Nick of the potential opportunity.
"I have a lot of things I have to sit down and think about when it comes to that. It's a lot of responsibility. It's a great opportunity but it comes with a lot of responsibility... My main focus right now is ABC Food Tours, which is something I'm putting all of my energy into."
Hannah previously admitted to ET it would be "a little hard" to watch Tyler hand out roses on Season 24 of The Bachelor -- which is expected to premiere in January 2020 -- because there are "still feelings there."
"But I would support him in his happiness," Hannah claimed last week.
"I think that the main thing is figuring out what will make both of us happy, and if that's for him to go on and to have the opportunity to be the Bachelor, I would support him in finding his happiness, just like he supported me with [Jed Wyatt]."
If Tyler doesn't have a future on The Bachelor, Chris would apparently like to see Tyler continue his journey on reality television on a different series.
"Why isn't it Tyler [on Dancing with the Stars]?" Chris asked when ET broached the topic of either Hannah or Colton Underwood competing for the mirrorball trophy. "Tyler dances. He has the whole Footloose thing!"
