Elevens played a crucial role in Michael Olson and Kathryn Levine's wedding Friday, the Duluth News Tribune reported.
After 11 years and 11 months of dating, the couple was married at 11:11 a.m. on 11/11/11 at the Peace United Church of Christ at 1111 N. 11th Ave. East.
"There's all kinds of quirky fun involved," Levine said Thursday.
The couple, who met through a mutual friend, got engaged on Christmas Day last year. They planned a casual wedding with friends and family coming in from across the country.
Olson is a retired Duluth police officer who now provides court security at the federal building. Levine worked for Duluth Public Schools and currently supervises student teachers at the University of Minnesota Duluth.
