"I'm so excited, I get to go see my grandbabies! [The show] has been wonderful. I have been like a fish out of water for six weeks. It was such a wonderful journey. It took them a long time to convince me to come do this and it was wonderful. It was worth it," Paula said following her elimination.
Spy Kids star Alexa PenaVega and partner Mark Ballas were the other couple in jeopardy prior to Paula and Louis' ouster, but they were not necessarily one of the bottom-two couples based on the judges' scores and America's votes.
Monday night's DWTS episode dubbed "Famous Dance Night" concluded with a three-way tie for first place on the leaderboard, as three couples all received a perfect score of 40 points from Dancing with the Stars judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli as well as guest judge Olivia Newton-John.
Bindi Irwin, the daughter of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, and partner Derek Hough took the stage with a rumba routine to "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" from Dirty Dancing -- completing the famous lift and all.
Crooner Andy Grammer and partner Allison Holker performed a jazz routine to "Good Morning" from Singing In The Rain.
Tamar Braxton, a singer, talk show host and sister of Toni Braxton, and partner Val Chmerkovskiy danced a jazz number to "Rhythm Nation" by Janet Jackson.
Fourth place on the judges' leaderboard went to Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter and partner Sharna Burgess. The pair earned 39 points for their samba routine set to "You Should Be Dancing" from Saturday Night Fever.
Big Time Rush singer Carlos PenaVega and partner Witney Carson finished the night in fifth place with 38 points. They performed a rumba to "Pony" from Magic Mike and Carlos basically worked up the guts to give everyone a striptease.
Internet sensation Hayes Grier and partner Emma Slater landed in sixth place on the judges' leaderboard. They received 32 points after taking the stage with a jazz routine to "You're The One That I Want" from Grease.
Seventh place was a tie between two couples at 30 points: Alexa and Mark as well as train hero Alek Skarlatos and partner Lindsay Arnold.
Alek and Lindsay performed the jive to "Jailhouse Rock" from Jailhouse Rock, while Alexa and Mark danced the cha cha to "I'm A Slave 4 U" by Britney Spears. Alexa got up the nerve to handle a huge snake during her sexy routine.

Paula and Louis landed in ninth -- and last -- place Monday night. The couple received only 24 points for their jazz routine inspired by Madonna's "Vogue." Paula had also finished last week's show in last place when she performed with Mark for the "Switch-Up" twist.
