Rashad, an NFL player, and partner Emma Slater were right on Simone and Sasha's heels when they claimed second place on Monday night's leaderboard with 31 points for their cha cha performance.
Three couples tied for third place on the judges' leaderboard at 28 points: Iconic figure skater Nancy Kerrigan and partner Artem Chigvintsev, Glee star Heather Morris and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, and two-time World Series champion David Ross -- who surprised everyone in the ballroom with his natural dance ability -- and partner Lindsay Arnold.
Nancy and Artem danced the Viennese waltz, as did Heather and Maksim. David and Lindsay took the stage with a quickstep routine.
Sixth place on the leaderboard went to Fifth Harmony member Normani Kordei and partner Val Chmerkovskiy, who received 27 points from the judges for their quickstep number.
The Bachelor star Nick Viall and partner Peta Murgatroyd tied for seventh place on the leaderboard with Erika "Erika Jayne" Girardi and partner Gleb Savchenko.
Both couples earned 24 points. Nick and Peta performed the cha cha, while Erika and Gleb took the stage with the salsa.
Bull rider-turned-model Bonner Bolton and partner Sharna Burgess finished in ninth place last night with 22 points for their cha cha routine.
After earning 21 points from the judges for their salsa, tenth place on the leaderboard belonged to entertainer and reality TV veteran Charo and partner Keo Motsepe.
Pro wrestler Mr. T and partner Kym Johnson danced a 20-point worthy cha cha and therefore landed in eleventh place on the judges' leaderboard Monday night.
Finally, comedian and actor Chris Kattan and partner Witney Carson fell into twelfth -- and last -- place on the leaderboard. The pair received only 17 points from the judges after dancing the cha cha.
Next Monday night on Dancing with the Stars, the couple with the lowest combined total of viewer votes and judges' scores from last night will go home.
