Longtime Dancing with the Stars professional dancer Derek Hough -- who had also judged NBC's World of Dance and returned to Dancing with the Stars as a judge for Season 29 -- and DWTS pro dancer Hayley Erbert reportedly met in 2014 when Hayley joined Derek and his sister Julianne Hough on their "Move Live Tour."
Hayley and Derek's work relationship then took a romantic turn a year later in 2015.
But Hayley didn't find fame until she competed on So You Think You Can Dance and also performed as a member of the Dancing with the Stars troupe beginning in 2016.
Derek regularly gushed about being in love with Hayley on social media in the years afterward, and the couple announced their engagement in June 2022.
In August 2023, Derek and Hayley got married in an "incredibly romantic" redwood forest wedding in Monterey County, CA.
