The Girls Next Door's fifth season ended with Hefner's former girlfriends Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilson all revealing plans to move out of the Playboy Mansion after Madison and Hefner broke up and Wilkinson got engaged to NFL star Hank Baskett.

Madison and Marquardt had lived in the Playboy Mansion since 2001, while Wilkinson moved in in 2004.

Despite their decision to leave, Hefner said during a January CNN interview that the E! reality series would be back for a sixth season and include Madison, Marquardt and Wilson.

"All three of the girls are scheduled for season six," Hefner told CNN anchor John Roberts at the time.  "It will be a season of transitions and we will be meeting some of the new girls, too."

However Madison, Marquardt and Wilson will likely only "make cameo appearances" during the upcoming sixth season, an E! publicist told Reality TV World on Wednesday.

Hefner's new girlfriends who have since moved into the Playboy Mansion are 19-year-old identical twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon and 23-year-old Crystal Harris.

The Girls Next Door's sixth-season episodes will serve as the lead-in for Leave it to Lamas, a new reality series that will follow The Bachelor: London Calling winner Shayne Lamas and the rest of her family as they live their Hollywood lifestyles.
