Ex-'Idol' finalist Kellie Pickler joining Taylor Swift on 52-city concert tour

Kellie Pickler is hitting the road with one of her gal pals.

The former American Idol fifth-season finalist is joining Taylor Swift's "Fearless Tour 2009," which will commence April 23 in Evansville, IN and make stops in more than 50 North American cities over the course of six months.
"It's always fun to be on tour and be with the fans, and to be out with Taylor, who is like a sister to me, is really awesome," said Pickler.
"We wrote my current single, 'Best Days of Your Life,' on tour together last year, and I'm sure we're going to write on the road together this year, too. So guys: you've been warned. Don't make us mad, because you might just hear about it on the radio!"
Pickler's self-titled sophomore album debuted at No. 9 on The Billboard 200 album sales chart, selling 43,000 units during its initial week of release last October.
