Five Food Network viewers will compete to create the newest Haagen-Dazs ice cream flavor for an upcoming special on the U.S. cable network.

In a press release, the Food Network said a two-hour special will follow the competitors as they attempt to create the next limited-edition flavor for the ice cream giant.

"Scoop!" is scheduled to air on July 15, and feature original flavors such as "Mocha Malt,""Caramelized Figs and Walnuts" and "Cannoli."

The winning flavor will be sold nationwide by Haagen-Dazs beginning July 16.

Jim O'Connor of the network's "The Secret Life of..." is set to be the show's host.

All the contestants' videos, recipes and an online poll are available to viewers at FoodNetwork.com.
