Former 'Dancing' partner Drew Lackey not rooting for Cheryl Burke

Drew Lachey captured Dancing with the Starssecond-season title with Cheryl Burke, but that apparently doesn't mean he'll blindly cheer for her to win every edition of the ABC reality series.

Lachey is rooting for Olympic gold medalist gymnast Shawn Johnson and her partner Mark Ballas to win Dancing with the Stars currently airing eighth season instead of Burke and her celebrity partner Gilles Marini.
"I'm pulling for Shawn," Lachey told E! News in a Monday report.
"She's 17 years old. She's putting herself out there, doing something completely foreign to her. Adults can adjust a bit easier, but for a 17-year-old to go out there? My hat goes off to her."
In addition, Lachey joked that if Burke and Marini were to win the eighth-season mirror ball trophy it would "belittle" his victory with her in February 2006.
"I'm going to have to go back on there and show people that it wasn't her -- it was me," he told E! News. "If I had a different partner, I still would have won."
