Friends of Jon Gosselin have come to the defense of the Jon & Kate Plus 8 patriarch, who has been facing reports of infidelity after he was recently photographed leaving a club during the early morning hours with a woman that was not his wife Kate.

The latest accusations surrounding Jon's alleged infidelity occurred on April 18 when the 32-year-old father arrived at Legends Lounge, a club near the couple's home in Wernersville, PA, at 11:20PM and "could barely walk" by 2AM, Us Weekly reported in a cover story report published in the magazine's May 11 issue.
Upon leaving the club's back entrance, Us reported that Jon could be heard yelling, "Hey, babe! Babe! Give me my jacket!" before climbing into his Nissan Nismo. Since he allegedly had just drawn unwanted attention to himself, Jon then reportedly "panicked" and urged the "female friend" to "get in the car!" before they sped away quickly, according to Us.
However Legends Lounge bouncer Pat Fagan feels that Jon and the unidentified woman did not seem to be romantically involved.
"They seemed like casual friends," Fagan told People. "There was no romantic anything. They weren't gazing into each other eyes."
In addition, Fagan disputed rumors that Jon was also sans wedding ring while at the club.
"He always has his wedding band on," Fagan told People. "He talks about his kids all the time. He loves his family."
Despite admitting to poor judgement surrounding, Jon denied any infidelity following the alleged incident.
However it wasn't the first time he has been in hot water over a similar situation, as he was allegedly spotted in February partying with college girls at a Huntington, PA, bar. While at the bar, Jon reportedly met some girls from Juniata College -- who subsequently invited him to a house party where he played beer pong.
Jon later denied that his marriage was on the rocks and subsequently denied he has ever cheated on Kate.
"The guy just needs to be cut some slack once in while when he wants to relax a bit," friend Dustin Sands told People. "[Kate and Jon] have their disagreements but he's a family-oriented guy. I don't think he'd put that on the line."
Jon & Kate Plus 8's fifth season will premiere May 25 on TLC.
