Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star June "Mama June" Shannon is reportedly dating a convicted sex offender, resulting in TLC contemplating the future of her family's reality series.

If things couldn't get any worse, McDaniel was put behind bars for allegedly molesting a child in Shannon's own family when they had previously dated. Now, TLC is figuring out how to handle this risky situation considering the series has many child stars.
"TLC is not in production on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," a network representative told Fox News. "We are very concerned about this new information and are reassessing the future of the series."
McDaniel is reportedly in his early 50s and was convicted in late May 2004 of aggravated child molestation. He registered as a sex offender in March 2014.
Shannon and Thompson never technically married but their relationship lasted over 10 years.
Shannon, according to E! News, ditched her wedding ring after learning Thompson had been browsing some online dating websites. One profile in particular reportedly appeared to match Sugar Bear's description. It listed a "currently single" hunter, fisherman and four-wheel rider.
