Jef Holm's brother, Mike Holm, is contradicting his brother's public denial and saying a report claiming Emily Maynard and Jef got into a blowout argument this past weekend over "explicit" text messages Jef found to and from another man in The Bachelorette star's cellphone is completely true.

"I love my brother very much and, like the rest of our family, I just want him to be happy."
Mike was referring to a Wednesday Us report which claimed Jef and Maynard's relationship is in turmoil despite the couple putting on a good face for the media in recent days.
A source close to Jef told the magazine The Bachelorette couple argued at the Holms' family vacation house in South Carolina on Sunday after Jef had discovered sexual text messages in Maynard's phone, causing him to scream at her and eventually kick her out of the house in the middle of the night.
While Jef and Maynard -- who got engaged three months ago while filming The Bachelorette's eighth-season finale, which aired on July 22 -- are insisting the report is completely false, Mike is implying the opposite. However, Mike seemingly only has his brother's best interests at heart, along with Maynard's.
"We all love Emily, too. Mistakes happen, we all get that," he explained. "I hope they can work it all out, but as far as your story goes, it's all true."
Wednesday afternoon, after Us' report of the alleged cheating scandal and argument circulated, Jef and Maynard released their statements and claimed everything has been simply wonderful between them.
The report "is one hundred percent not true," Maynard told People.
"It's funny to me," Holm added. "We were in a gated community in a private home with just my brothers and sisters. It's just bogus a 'source' would [say] we were fighting. None of that is true."
Holm has also reportedly spent the last few days looking at condos and apartments in Charlotte, NC, anticipating his big move so he can be closer to his fiancee and Ricki.
"I have never been more in love or felt more confident about our relationship. We're so excited about the future and to be back in Charlotte and things are actually happening -- looking at places to live and going to school. I'm happier than I've ever been," Maynard explained.
