Survivor 2 castaway Jeff Varner has been cast as "The Mixer" in a paranormal thriller 'Area 23.'

'Area 23' is the Pentagon sanctioned program that houses the 'Psy Ops' Team - an elite strike team of paranormals.. individuals gifted with extraordinary powers of the mind.

Area 23 is a pilot movie for a series. In addition to Varner, the cast includes Carrie Dobro ('Babylon 5: Crusade'), Maggie Egan ('Babylon 5: Crusade'), Eugene Robert Glazer ('La Femme Nikita'), and Angelle Brooks ('V.I.P') among its announced cast of thirteen.
