Jennifer Lopez herself has denied reports she's dating Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

In addition to plugging her new album A.K.A., which will be released on June 17, Lopez clarified her relationship status when a fan asked whether she's single.
"No I'm not. (dating anyone new already.)," she tweeted.
Lopez, 44, recently dumped backup dancer-turned-choreographer Casper Smart, 27, in an "amicable process that started a few months ago," according to an Us Weekly insider.
Rumors have since been circulating Lopez may be romantically involved with Chmerkovskiy, a 34-year-old Dancing with the Stars pro.
Sources have claimed Lopez and Chmerkovskiy kept in touch after he performed with her at the American Music Awards last November. The pair reportedly met through Lopez's best friend Leah Remini, who had competed on the seventeenth season of Dancing with the Stars and reportedly hopes the couple will date.
"Leah is trying to play matchmaker with Maks and Jennifer," a source told Us earlier this week. "She's really egging it on and encouraging it."
However, another source told People that Lopez, a mother of two children, is envisioning "a relationship with a guy who is older and has an established career."
Chmerkovskiy has apparently been single since his last relationship with Sports Illustrated supermodel Kate Upton ended in December although reports have circulated for weeks he's interested in his eighteenth-season Dancing with the Stars partner Meryl Davis. Chmerkovskiy and Davis, who won the season together, have both denied the dating rumors.
It has yet to be confirmed whether Lopez and Chmerkovskiy will return to their respective reality shows. Chmerkovskiy has recently suggested he might like to serve as a Dancing with the Stars judge going forward, while Lopez is expected to sit on Idol's judging panel again with Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban for Season 14.
