Hailey Glassman has no regrets about a recent interview in which she claimed Jon Gosselin "emotionally abused" her and "has trouble with the truth" -- despite the fact that it reportedly led to the couple taking a break from their romantic relationship.
The Jon & Kate Plus 8 star and Glassman -- who had been dating since the summer -- are reportedly "taking a break" from their relationship, according to various Friday reports.
"[Gosselin] apparently decided he needed to spend some time on his own," a source told Extra. In addition, a source told Us Weekly that the decision to put their romantic relationship on hiatus apparently came on the same day Glassman conducted her The Insider interview in which she accused Gosselin of being emotionally abusive, throwing "mantrums" and having a "Jekyll and Hyde" personality. "They broke up the day she did that interview," a source told Us. "She told me it was gonna be over. She was just waiting to let him go." Following Glassman's The Insider interview, Gosselin released a statement in which he expressed remorse for the way he was treating Glassman and added he was "committed to making things right" with her -- however a source subsequently told People it was all part of a "carefully orchestrated sequence." "First, Hailey laments how hard her life has been lately and how bad Jon treats her, then Jon repents. Next, Jon plans to announce that he is going to be spending some time alone," the source told People. "It has all been designed so that it doesn't seem as though Hailey got dumped." |
