Khloe Kardashian's family is reportedly encouraging her to dump her husband and alleged drug addict Lamar Odom, with matriarch Kris Jenner taking control of the situation.

Jenner is taking the lead on Kardashian and Odom's "imminent" divorce because her daughter is "too emotional" and still hopes to "save" her man in light of reports Odom is abusing crack cocaine and has cheated on Kardashian multiple times, the New York Daily News reported.

While her family is pushing for a divorce because they believe Odom "can't be saved," Kardashian is reportedly still resistant.

"Kim, Kourtney and Kris want her to dump him. You can't live with a drug addict," a source close to the family told the Daily News. "She is in love and does not want a divorce." 

Jenner therefore has allegedly taken it upon herself to meet with divorce attorney Laura Wasser, whom Jenner had previously worked with in handling Kim Kardashian's recent divorce from NBA basketball player Kris Humphries.

According to the newspaper, Jenner and Wasser had a two-hour meeting in addition to multiple phone conversations about how to cut Odom out of the Kardashian family.

"Kris wants Khloe to get her prenup money, plus the penalty for cheating," another source said.

Jenner was reportedly the one to meet with Wasser so her family could technically yet truthfully tell the press neither Kardashian and Odom have yet to consult a divorce lawyer. However, Jenner recently denied divorce rumors on behalf of her daughter when pressed for information.

"Khloe and Lamar are absolutely not getting divorced," Jenner told E! News. "There's been no talk of divorce."

Odom returned to the Los Angeles home he shares with the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star on Monday after she kicked him out of the house last week for rejecting her attempt at an intervention, TMZ reported.

Odom is "open to reason and listening to the people who love him the most," a source told TMZ, adding that he hasn't agreed, however, to enter rehab for his alleged drug problem.

"Lamar's been heavily into drugs for more than eight months," an insider told the Daily News. "It's likely sanctioned by the Kardashians to publicly shame Lamar. They've destroyed his career. Now Kris wants him out of the family."

Jenner also reportedly fears Odom may have a negative influence on her son Rob Kardashian, who lives with the married couple.

"He's best friends with Lamar; look at his weight fluctuations, he's unhealthy," added the insider.
