"I'm so excited to be joining the WE tv family! I'm thrilled to continue showing the world my story and everything that's coming up in my life," the former Kendra and The Girls Next Door star said in a statement.
The new series is being produced by Prometheus Entertainment -- the same production company that previously produced Kendra and The Girls Next Door for E!.
"Ever since we started working with Kendra we knew that she was the real deal. She has that magic combination of beauty, humor and heart, and the opportunity to bring her to WE tv is very exciting for all of us. We can't wait to have fun," Kendra On Top executive producer Kevin Burns added.
WE tv has ordered 14 episodes of Kendra On Top, which will air a one-hour premiere and finale with 12 half-hour episodes in between.
In addition to Burns, Kendra On Top is being executive produced by Suzanne Gladstone with Scott Hartford, Kim Sheerin, Wilkinson-Baskett, and Hank Baskett serving as co-executive producers. Production for the show will begin in Los Angeles this month.
Kendra On Top will be one of several new reality series debuting on WE tv this summer. Other projects include Cyndi, a new series starring singer and former The Celebrity Apprentice participant Cyndi Lauper, and Hair Divas: Hollywood, which will follow hairstylist Kimberly Kimble and the staff of her Hollywood salon.
