A gang of about 10 armed guerrillas reportedly ambushed a truck that was traveling from the show's production camp to Isiolo, a town outside the Shaba National Reserve, where producers are getting ready to film the show's third installment.

After the attack, game rangers from parks near Shaba were called in to patrol the highway. The rangers have also been asked to provide armed escorts for all vehicles to and from the park.
"This appears to be another exaggerated or inaccurate report," CBS spokesman Chris Ender said of the ambush. "Our security has no knowledge of the event other than the published report."
