Kicking & Screaming's cast of 20 people -- 10 expert survivalists paired with 10 pampered novices -- has been announced by Fox.

Among the novices, the cast will include a former beauty pageant winner, a model, and a professional gamer when Kicking & Screaming premieres Thursday, March 9 at 9PM ET/PT on Fox.

The network announced last January it had picked up Kicking & Screaming, a reality competition series that will pair up 10 expert survivalists -- who are accustomed to expeditions and fending for themselves -- with privileged partners for a dangerous and physically-challenging race in the jungles of Fiji.

Kicking & Screaming, hosted by Hannah Simone from New Girl, will drop unlikely duos into the wilderness where they must overcome extreme weather conditions, hunger, raging rivers and frightening animals together.

The first team to cross the finish line will win the grand prize of $500,000, but only after its expert spends the entire race dealing with a person who enjoys "glamping" and believes "roughing it" is skipping a weekly massage.

Kicking & Screaming is being produced by Lionsgate Television and executive produced by Matt Kunitz, who has also been behind Wipeout and Fear Factor. Anthony Dominici also serves as an executive producer.

- Brady Cervantes, a 28-year-old former U.S. Marine scout sniper from Addison, TX

- Caleb Garmany, a 25-year-old in private security who served in the military from Albany, GA

- Hakim Isler, a 39-year-old martial arts instructor from Fayetteville, NC

- Jason White, a 37-year-old former recon marine from Austin, TX                     

- Jessie Krebs, a 49-year-old wilderness therapy field guide and former Air Force survival, evasion, resistance and escape specialist from Pagosa Springs, CO   

- John McPhee, a 46-year-old mercenary from Raeford, NC

- Ras Vaughan, a 45-year-old off-the-grid survivalist from Coupeville, WA

- Tamra Hyde, a 39-year-old wilderness guide from Salt Lake City, UT

- Terry Fossum, a 52-year-old lifelong boy scout from Veradale, WA
