White Tree Fine Art beat out Inside the Box, a 25-member group from Pomona, CA, and Theatrix, an all-male act from Temecula, CA for the final spot.
Live To Dance's broadcast then featured six of its 18 semifinalist acts performing live on the stage as they competed for two spots -- one chosen by the judges, and one by the votes cast from home viewers at the end of Wednesday night's episode -- in the competition's final round.
The act chosen by home viewers will be revealed next Wednesday's live show, and the two acts that advanced from this week's semifinals round will then return to compete in Live To Dance finals in three weeks.
The six acts who performed were: The Vibe, a 38-member group from Utah; Jittin' Genius, formally known as Brandon Hobbs, a 26-year-old from Detroit, MI; Chi-Town Finest Breakers, a five-member group from Chicago, IL; Austen Acevedo, a nine-year-old from Orlando, FL; Beverly Polcyn, an 83-year-old from Woodland Hills, CA, and Hap Palmer, a 68-year-old also from Woodland Hills, CA; and D'Angelo Castro, a nine-year-old from Miami, FL, and Amanda Carbajales, a 10-year-old also from Miami, FL.
Live To Dance's expert judges Paula Abdul, Travis Payne and Kimberly Wyatt picked The Vibe to advance to the finals out of the six acts who performed, leaving the home viewers to decide which of the five other acts will be the second group to advance.
Next week's Live To Dance broadcast will feature six of the 12 remaining acts performing and air Wednesday, January 19 at 8PM ET/PT.
