Love After Lockup star Alex Bentley was arrested on nine new felony charges this week.

Alex, who is currently appearing on Love After Lockup with his fiancee Glorietta, was arrested in California on Monday night after local police initially pulled his pickup truck over for an expired registration.

Elk Grove Police Department posted a photo of Alex's pickup truck on its Facebook page on November 5 as well as a statement about the incident.

The post was titled, "Vehicle Stop Leads to Firearm and Narcotics Arrest."

According to the police department, the vehicle being driven by the 28-year-old Elk Grove, CA resident was stopped around 9:30PM on Monday.

"A record check revealed Bentley was on probation and prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition," read the post.

The officer who pulled Alex over therefore conducted a probation search of the vehicle, which led to numerous discoveries.

The officer found "a firearm, ammunition as well as methamphetamine and heroin."

The post continued, "Bentley was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, having a concealed firearm in a vehicle, possession of controlled substances while armed with a firearm, possession for sales of methamphetamine and heroin as well as additional narcotics-related charges."

Alex was booked into Sacramento County Main Jail in Sacramento, CA shortly after midnight Monday night, according to Sacramento County Sheriff's Department information obtained by Reality TV World.

As of early Friday afternoon, Alex is still in custody and been deemed ineligible for bail, according to inmate records, although bail appears to have initially have been set at $120,000 for four on the felony charges.

Alex's next court hearing is scheduled for November 12 and he has not received any visitors since he arrived at the jail, according to jail records.

Glorietta, however, didn't initially appear to believe that Alex would have any difficulty making bail.

News of Alex's arrest was first reported by Starcasm, which tweeted on Tuesday that Alexander was arrested the previous night and was facing nine felony drug and firearm charges.

A Twitter user then tweeted at Glorietta asking if the news was true, and Glorietta confirmed Alex was behind bars again but replied back that, "He will make bail very soon."

The nine felonies Alex was reportedly initially charged with were as follows: Possession of firearm by a felon; felon in possession of ammunition; possession of controlled substance for sale; transportation, sale and distribution of controlled substance; possession of controlled substances while armed with loaded firearm, possession for sale-controlled substances non-narcotic; sale or transport of controlled substances non-narcotic; having concealed firearm in vehicle; and violation of probation.

This reportedly also wasn't Alex's first arrest since his release from jail that was shown on Love After Lockup.

Court records reveal Alexander was charged with petty theft and possession of a controlled substance in August, Starcasm reported.

The charges were both misdemeanors, and Alexander reportedly pleaded no contest to the theft charge. As for the possession charge, it was allegedly dismissed.

Love After Lockup follows imprisoned partners meeting or reuniting with their significant others following their release from prison. The couples then try to navigate life together, and many intend to get married. 

Glorietta, a 34-year-old nursing assistant, and Alex dated for less than a year before Alexander was finally released from prison. They had never spent time together without a glass partition between them prior to his release.

Love After Lockup's currently-airing season has shown Alex getting released from prison after serving two years for identity theft and burglary and then proposing marriage to Glorietta, who accepted.

However, last week's Love After Lockup episode appeared to show Alex having some doubts about his relationship with Glorietta and reaching out to another a former girlfriend named Julianna.

In fact, Alex arranged to meet up with Julianna for coffee behind Glorietta's back while she was out wedding dress shopping.

Alex even took Julianna's hand as they talked at a table at a coffee shop. During the conversation, Alex told Julianna he had gotten engaged to Glorietta but was still thinking of Julianna and asked her what he should do.

"I'm not going to tell you what to do," Julianna replied. "[But] I can tell you I don't start things with unavailable men."

"Now you have to get yourself out of it, if that's what you want to do" she added.

According to Starcasm, Alex posted on Facebook in late August that he and Glorietta were no longer together.

He called her a "deceitful, horrible person" at the time and claimed she was a selfish cheater and liar "driven by greed."

"I'm losing everything I own because I can't pay my [bills] because she won't give me my paycheck. She would rather spend it on splurging on herself, on material sh-t. She dgaf," he reportedly wrote at the time.

"Spread the word. This girl is low and should not be given any attention at all. Thanks for ruining my credit and causing me to get my sh-t repossessed. You're hella cool bro. F--- you."

Alex, however, reportedly later deleted the post and attempted to take his harsh words back, insisting he and his fiancee were "just fine."

"[We're] just living our lives one day at a time with progress to meet a successful goal in the near future. We had a rocky start to say the least.. And i do with an undoubted certainty apologize for my crewl words spoken out of anger to glorietta," he reportedly wrote.

"And have apologized to her in the most unforgetable way. But were doing just fine still rockin making money living life to the fullest. Dont believe the hype were still A1 ya dig. Give 2 f--ks if you think otherwise.  me n my baby."
