Maksim Chmerkovskiy's Dancing with the Stars days are apparently over.

The pro dancer has reportedly said he wants Meryl Davis, his eighteenth-season Dancing with the Stars partner, to be the last celebrity he ever competes with on the show, especially since they were crowned champions and walked away with the coveted mirror-ball trophy.
Chmerkovskiy also explained he's leaving the series due to the fact he'd love to start a family because he has so much to give.
Chmerkovskiy was absent from Dancing with the Stars' sixteenth and seventeenth editions last year to pursue acting roles and other opportunities.
"When I came back to the show, it was not the same -- I was different, probably," he noted, according to Us. "When I came back, I saw this amazing talent... I looked at it and thought they can do much more and better. I was taking up a huge spot."
Chmerkovskiy revealed in March he had turned down an offer to serve as a regular judge on the Dancing with the Stars panel after his two-season hiatus. Instead, he wanted to make his comeback on the show as a professional partner. Whether he'll consider becoming a judge for the reality dancing competition's next season remains unclear.
Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli have been Dancing with the Stars' three judges dating all the way back to the show's debut season in 2005.
Chmerkovskiy gave judging a try when he appeared on the seventeenth season as a guest judge.
Chmerkovskiy first appeared as a pro on Dancing with the Stars for its second season. He has competed in 15 seasons in total, landing in the runner-up spot twice and also finishing in third place twice.
