Maksim Chmerkovskiy apparently changed his mind about not revealing any details about Dancing with the Stars' tenth season prior to ABC's formal announcement on Monday.

"I am returning! I'm excited!" Chmerkovskiy told In Touch Weekly while attending an event in New York on Tuesday. "They did an amazing job keeping everything a secret this time, but we know that Pam is on."
Chmerkovskiy's comments came only hours after he had said he wouldn't be following in the footsteps of several other Dancing with the Stars professionals who had already revealed their tenth-season status via Twitter postings.
"I'm not tweeting/responding regarding season 10 because we were asked not to," Chmerkovskiy wrote on Twitter early Tuesday morning. "Don't know why others do. All I can say regarding me is... :)"
Reports that Anderson would be participating in Dancing with the Stars' tenth season first surfaced earlier this month.
"Pam is thrilled and so is the show," a source told RadarOnline about the former Baywatch bombshell, Playboy covergirl and star of E!'s Pam: Girl on the Loose reality series.
"She really wanted to do the show and the show thought it was a great idea."
ABC will formally reveal Dancing with the Stars tenth-season cast throughout its broadcast of The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love's finale on Monday, March 1.
According to ABC Entertainment president Stephen McPherson, Dancing with the Stars' tenth season -- which will premiere Monday, March 22 -- will feature a smaller cast than the record-setting 16 celebrity/professional pairings that competed on last fall's ninth edition.
