Regardless of whether fans think Nick Viall is a pig on The Bachelorette, he's certainly not acting like one now.

Viall tweeted words of support and encouragement to Kaitlyn Bristowe on Monday night while The Bachelorette episode was airing in which the couple had sex in a hotel well before the show's famous fantasy-suite dates, when it's ironically socially acceptable for physical activity to happen behind closed doors.

Bristowe -- who is not ashamed of her actions although she cared for multiple men at the time and therefore felt a little guilty -- has argued for weeks she's being judged, criticized and slut-shamed just because she chose to openly talk about sex on the ABC reality dating series.

"There is a more to intimacy than just sex. Kaitlyn showed a lot of courage by admitting 2 having sex on national TV knowing that she will be unfairly judged by some. Sex is not shameful. Whether we admit it or not, sex is important part of many serious and meaningful relationships," Viall tweeted last night.

"Despite what we have been led to believe, both men & women have an emotional connection to sex that we all should respect. Kaitlyn acknowledging that there are others involved shows she respects the emotional connection men can have to sex."

Viall continued, "Both men and women have an equal right to have sex without judgement. God only knows where Twitter would be if people lived by the saying 'he who is without sin should cast the first stone?'"

The 34-year-old software sales executive developed a bad reputation after revealing on After the Final Rose back on Andi Dorfman's tenth season of The Bachelorette that they had made love in the fantasy suite. Dorfman was shocked and called Viall's remark "below the belt," especially since she ended the show engaged to winner Josh Murray.

"Rule no.1 Never kiss and tell, Rule no.2 Never kiss and tell twice.... #FianceTypeStuff #TheBachelorette," Dorfman tweeted during last night's show.

In Viall's Twitter rant, he's also insisting -- despite what fans are accusing him of -- that he did not kiss and tell this time around.

Last night's episode, in fact, just showed Viall telling the other guys he had been invited back to Bristowe's hotel suite after their one-on-one date in Dublin, where they just sat on the couch and talked all night. He called their time together "really personal, authentic and comfortable" but did not disclose they had sex.

"If I kissed and told my guess is the mood of that group date would have been much much different #TheBachelorette #bachelorette," Viall wrote.

Bristowe also took to Twitter on Monday night to address all the hype surrounding her sexual encounter with Viall.

"Just remember, when you judge me, you do not define me, you define yourself. think about that before sending out negativity to any1 tonight," the Season 11 Bachelorette tweeted.
