Bachelor in Paradise couple Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer have opened up about the real Aaron Erb and how his behavior on Jenn Tran's The Bachelorette season was "a cheap copy" of Noah.

"Aaron didn't listen to none of our advice," Noah said of his twin brother during a recent appearance on Jason Tartick's "Trading Secrets" podcast.

Noah, a former The Bachelorette villain himself, jokingly added, "I definitely think he did it worse than me... I think it was a cheap copy of me."

Before falling in love with Abigail on Bachelor in Paradise's seventh season, Noah had competed on Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams' season of The Bachelorette, and he memorably feuded with Bennett Jordan.

Bennett had called Noah a "douchebag" and said he was a "juvenile" drama-starter.

Aaron similarly butted heads with Devin Strader on The Bachelorette's 21st season.

"I hate to say it, but he was almost the antithesis of me," Noah pointed out on the "Trading Secrets" podcast.

Abigail then shared of Aaron, "He can be an introspective person, and I think we saw little glimpses of that on the show. It's just a little unfortunate, I think, that he got a little distracted by other things that kind of took up that energy in him."

When Jason asked Noah if Aaron has no filter, Noah deflected the question onto his unsuspecting fiancee.

"Umm," Abigail blurted out with a laugh.

"I think that, as twins, Aaron and I switched," Noah explained.

"I was always the loud one, and I'm like, 'Dude, you're the loud one now.' I used to be the more loud and outspoken twin. He was quiet. He was the guy who would help me cheat on math. He was the brain. He had books smarts and I had the street smarts."

Abigail pointed out how Aaron had been the rule follower out of the two brothers, and then Noah reiterated how their personalities "flipped" in recent years.

"I'm domesticated. I don't have as sharp edges, and he's, like, you know, doing his thing," Noah said.

When Noah had appeared on The Bachelorette's sixteenth season, Bennett gifted him a book on emotional intelligence, which pissed Noah off at the time.

It therefore didn't seem like a coincidence when Aaron chose to give Devin a book about self-growth to read during Jenn's season. Devin called it a "very condescending" gesture.

"He didn't see that coming?" Jason asked Noah.

"I wish it wouldn't have gone down the way it went down. That's all," Noah replied.

"Everyone has this preconceived notion that I sat Aaron in a chair and coached him how to do it and that he did all of this for me, but none of that makes any sense."

Noah said it was always Aaron's goal to do his own thing on The Bachelorette 21.

"He's his own different person. [I was like], 'The show is a mad animal. Good luck. Here is my advice,'" Noah recalled.

Noah declined to reveal what his advice actually was, but he joked about how Aaron "scrapped it all."

"But for the Bennett [book] thing," Noah continued, "I was like, 'Come on, at least do it better!'"

Jason went on to assume that The Bachelorette viewers saw a different version of Aaron than Noah and Abigail are used to seeing.

"Yeah, and I'm not dogging on Aaron on the show. I thought it was entertaining and funny. I cringed a little bit, but we talked trash to each other, and it is what it is," Noah explained.

"I think there's a lot of facets to Aaron. The dude is incredible, but also, I've been on the show and I was the villain too," the travel nurse continued. " didn't check Twitter for a week or two weeks because I was like, 'Alright, it is what it is. This is how it's shown.'"

Noah revealed that Aaron actually "doesn't have any regrets" about his time on Jenn's The Bachelorette season.

"He's about to go fly F-16s. I think he was funny... So I'm like, you know what? I'll tap him on the shoulder and say, 'You did your thing, and go do your thing,'" Noah shared.

"But I don't think it was a bad experience for him. I think it was a cheap copy of me for however it went down. He should at least have read off a page, done a salute, and say, 'It's time to go serve my country!' And then got out of there."

Noah added, "That's what he was going to do."

Abigail noted that Aaron couldn't predict crazy drama was going to pop up, and Noah repeated how Aaron "is a great dude" and viewers were only shown "little pieces" of his personality.

"Obviously, but there's definitely more to him," Noah told Jason.

Noah said Aaron would probably like to appear on Bachelor in Paradise's upcoming tenth season as long as filming perfectly aligns with Aaron's training schedule.

"But we would definitely encourage him because [Paradise] worked out for us," Abigail said.

"I preferred Paradise. It's a different ballgame," Noah agreed.

"But he's a wild card!" Abigail noted of Aaron. "That would be my only hesitation."

After Noah said he'd like Aaron "to do well" on Paradise, Abigail explained how Aaron is "definitely open" to finding love and finding his person.

"I think he is somebody that can take the elements of Paradise and getting to know someone quickly and asking the deep questions... If he found a good person on Paradise, I think he'd have a really good time," Abigail reasoned.

Noah said he'll encourage Aaron to go on Bachelor in Paradise just like he had encouraged his brother to compete on The Bachelorette.

Noah concluded how Bachelor in Paradise is "more laid back" and more like real life, an environment in which Aaron would probably thrive and be his best self.

On The Bachelorette's currently-airing season, Aaron had a problem with Devin early on because Devin stole Jenn for a gelato tasting during a group date. Aaron thought Devin was stepping on the other guys' toes and "making an ass" out of himself.

During a recent appearance on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast, Devin explained how Aaron unfairly attacked his character when they "didn't even know" each other yet.

"[Aaron] immediately leads into a conversation of, 'Hey, you're not a man. You're not grown enough to be with a woman. I'm judging your character and I'm judging your depth. I don't think she wants to be with a boy,'" Devin complained.

"I was like, 'If you're going to make bold assumptions like that, I can't help you here, buddy. I am not the guy you are going to rile up, that's for sure.'"

While he's not against poking the bear, Devin claimed he'd "never make assumptions" about someone's character, intentions, beliefs, values or self-worth without having the knowledge or evidence to back it up.

For Jenn's part, she revealed on "The Viall Files" earlier this month that Aaron owes her an apology.

"I was so happy for Aaron to go and pursue his dream, you know?... No hard feelings. But then when he was like, 'I have something to tell you,' and he didn't fully tell me who [had questionable intentions], it was like, then, in that moment, you're doing it for your own reasons!" Jenn vented to Nick Viall.

"That felt selfish to me, because you're putting a damper on my journey for what reason? If you truly thought that I could figure it out for myself, then you would've just let me figure it out for myself and you wouldn't have to tell me a thing!"

Jenn therefore reiterated how it was "very selfish" of Aaron to stir up chaos before his exit.

"It just made me angry because I had to address it. And I didn't need that! It didn't need to be like that. He could've just left and I would've been so happy for him," Jenn noted.
