"Well, I'm going to be moving to New York," Marshall told Kelly Ripa and guest co-host Bryant Gumbel during Thursday morning's broadcast of Live with Regis and Kelly.

And once she gets there, Marshall, a 27-year-old from Portland, OR, has some ambitious plans.

"I wanna be Michael Kors," she told Ripa and Gumbel.  "I wanna show at [New York Fashion Week] and I wanna build my line into a prominent name in the fashion industry."

Marshall also commented that due to the poker face she'd already developed earlier in the competition, it hadn't been difficult for her to keep her victory at last month's New York Fashion Week finale taping a secret.

"I had to keep it a secret that I was on the show, I had to keep it a secret that I was creating a collection, [so] by this point I was a pro at it [and] watching everything that I say," she said.

"My friends definitely have been trying to read my face and trying to trick me," she told Ripa.  "My family knew because they were there with me but it was just my boyfriend Nathan and my family and that's it."

Marshall also told Ripa that she had felt Korto Momolu -- a 33-year-old Arkansas resident who finished second in the competition -- had provided the most competition for her up through the end of the show.

"She's an incredible designer and I've got a lot of respect for her," Marshall said of Momulo. "She was tough competition."
