Scott Hamilton will reportedly be trading in his ice skates for some wingtips.

Hamilton, who rose to fame as a figure skater in the 1980's as a four-time United States and World Figure Skating champion before winning a gold medal at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, will be one of the contestants vying for Donald Trump's approval on the second season of The Celebrity Apprentice, The New York Post reported Wednesday.

Hamilton, who just turned 50 years-old last week, has been working as a commentator for NBC since he retired from professional skating in 2001. In 2006, he served as a judge -- along with fellow skating experts with John Nicks, Mark Lund, and Dorothy Hamill -- on Fox's Dancing with the Stars-like Skating with Celebrities reality competition.

Hamilton joins a growing group of celebrities that have previously been reported to be participating in the show, including comedian Joan Rivers, former Celebrity Mole Yucatan winner Dennis Rodman, former Baywatch actress Brande Roderick, and Keeping up with the Kardashians starlet Khloe Kardashian.

In addition, Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis and former I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here! contestant Melissa Rivers -- Joan Rivers' daughter -- will also be part of the cast, according to The Post.

The Celebrity Apprentice's second edition is scheduled to tape this fall and premiere in January.  NBC announced the show's renewal back in March.
