While Pratt will be taking a six-week leave from The Hills, Mr. Heidi Montag is not leaving the MTV reality show to work for the cyber security division at American Defense Enterprise, Us Weekly reported Monday.

"All of that stuff about him leaving The Hills to fight cyber crime is not true," a source told Us.

Instead, Pratt was "asked to" leave The Hills for six weeks after he allegedly "flipped out" on the show's set at a female producer who made a request he objected to.

"He got so crazy that he screamed at [her], 'I should kill you for even asking me to do that!'" a source told Us.

The "very rattled" producer subsequently filed a complaint with top producers and Pratt was threatened with being kicked off the show, according to Us, however a compromise was reached.

"The show agreed that Spencer would leave The Hills for six weeks to do anger management training once a week at home," a source told Us. "If he completes it, he can return to the show."

Pratt had told People in a Monday report that he had chose to leave The Hills to work for American defense Enterprises.

"I have decided to take a break from my obligations to MTV's The Hills and discontinue filming any more episodes for this current season," he told People.

"Upon learning of President Obama's declaration that the 'cyber threat is one of the most serious economic and national security challenges we face as a nation,' I have decided to refocus my energy and devote my full resources to helping America face this and other unprecedented challenges."

Last week, Montag announced that she was dropping Pratt as he business manager in favor of a psychic.
