Taylor Swift's friends are banding together in support after Kanye West released an offensive lyric about her on Thursday.
"I feel like me and Taylor might have sex/I made that [expletive] famous," West raps in the song, referencing his overshadowing of Swift's VMA acceptance speech in 2009.
"Too many lines crossed. If I put myself in the shoes of the women he has hurt recently. Victims of Bill Cosby, The Slut shaming, Amber...," model and actress Ruby Rose tweeted soon after hearing the line.
"And now my dear friend Taylor.. Right before another huge moment for her.. Can I still support him and call myself a feminist? A friend? No," she added.
Rose's comments come shortly after fellow Swift squad members spoke out agains the line."My attendance somewhere does not mean I agree with everything being said in the music playing there," supermodel Gigi Hadid said of her attendance to Yeezy's Season 3 fashion show. "My friends know of my loyalty."
Friend Jaime King also spoke up, writing on Twitter, "I'm so sad right now and disappointed right now. I stand by my sister. Always."
"Getting a head start on some spring cleaning," he wrote in the video's caption. "Here we go again."
