Sarah Herron is apparently campaigning for Nick Viall to star as the next Bachelor.

The former The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise contestant, 29, is "good friends" with Kaitlyn Bristowe's runner-up and believes he'd be "interesting in the same way Kaitlyn was" if ABC picked him as Season 20's leading man, People reported.

"I think he would keep it real, and it would be exciting," Herron added of Viall, 34. "You never know what to expect with Nick, so I just know he would keep you on your toes, and he's definitely provocative and knows how to stir the pot."

While Herron sees the positives of having Viall as the Bachelor, she also can't deny fan-favorite Ben Higgins would probably be great as well.

"He's very cute and he seems to have a good heart and he's wholesome," Herron said.

Viall, who was extremely controversial and polarizing on Season 11 of The Bachelorette, might seem like a surprising choice for Herron considering she'll go down as one of the sweetest, most sincere women on the Bachelor franchise ever. But what she had to say about Bristowe, 30, might also catch some fans off-guard.

Bristowe was "possibly one of the best Bachelorettes we've had in a long time," Herron told People, despite the fact she had sex with Viall weeks before the fantasy suites and was criticized for kissing many guys. "I think it's awesome that a woman can go on that show and be herself and not be what America wants her to be. We're not all perfect and you have to explore and mess up and learn your experiences."

Since competing on Sean Lowe's edition of The Bachelor as well as Bachelor in Paradise's first season, Herron has done her share of dating -- most of which derived from apps like Hinge, which reportedly labeled the LA advertising executive one of the 30 most eligible singles in her field.

"It's cool to be recognized for not just being on a TV show but also for my professional standpoint. I'm really honored and excited," Herron explained.

Online dates or meeting men off phone apps is "always a little bit awkward, but kind of exciting," she said. "If nothing else, it's a cool way to meet new people and open new doors."

Herron didn't deny, however, that it's "really tricky" trying to date men whom she didn't meet organically.

"Dating people on television is a completely different ball game. I would say dating on Hinge and in the real world is much easier because you're not forcing it," she explained.

"You have a little bit more say in finding the person you have something in common with, you get to be a little bit more discerning with your options, whereas on television -- especially with one Bachelor -- you don't get much say in who they are and if they really fit the profile of the type of man you're interested in. With Bachelor in Paradise you have a handful of guys but still the pool is much more limited."

Herron admitted she's proud to be part of the Bachelor family and feels all the contestants just "want each other to be happy."
