ABC has announced that the second installment of The Bachelorette, the romance reality series which turns the tables on the traditional dating rituals by giving one woman the chance to meet twenty-five handsome, successful men, will premiere on Wednesday, January 14 at 9PM ET.

In the inaugural edition of The Bachelorette broadcast in Early 2003, series star Trista Rehn met the love of her life, fireman Ryan Sutter. The couple will marry this coming December in a ceremony that will be broadcast by ABC.
Following the Wednesday, January 14 9PM ET premiere of The Bachelorette, ABC will also premiere the fourth edition of its The Mole reality series, entitled Celebrity Mole Yucatan, at 10PM ET. The pairing should feel familiar to viewers, as the network broadcast the last editions of both programs in the same Wednesdays 9-11 PM ET programming block during Early 2003. The combination proved to be a ratings winner, with Celebrity Mole Hawaii delivering the best audience retention of any program airing in the post-Bachelor or Bachelorette timeslot and both programs being among the top-rated ABC programs of the 2002-2003 television season, and the network is no doubt hoping for a similar performance this season.
