While wedding bells may not be in Simon Cowell and Terri Seymour's future, a rumor of the couple splitting was apparently untrue.

However Max Clifford, Cowell's publicist in the U.K., said there's no truth behind it.
"There's nothing in it, it's a rumor that's been going on for the last year or so," Clifford told the U.K.'s Sky Showbiz. "It's come up now because she's buying her own place, so everybody's been sniffing around since then."
Cowell and Seymour vacationed at the Sandy Lane Hotel in Barbados over the Christmas and New Year's holidays, and The People reported the couple "publicly argued" about his "stubborn refusal to commit himself any further to the relationship."
"It really is make or break time. She loves Simon but he's the most stubborn man in the world to live with," a friend of Seymour's told The People.
"He's always traveling the globe due to his work commitments and they are hardly ever in the same place at the same time. Terri's 33 now and really wants kids but Simon isn't interested. Every time she raises the question he changes the subject. Yes she has a great life and wants for nothing but Terri is a simple girl at heart who just want's to be a mum and settle down. No amount of money or fame can ever compensate for that."
Clifford countered by claiming that if Cowell "goes anywhere on his own" it's usually to events that Seymour would have no interest in attending.
"Like the Joe Calzaghe boxing match," Clifford told Sky Showbiz. "She doesn't like boxing. So that's really what it is, people putting two and two together and making six."
"They were together [Monday] night when I spoke to them."
While there may be no truth to the rumor, it didn't go unnoticed by Idol host Ryan Seacrest -- who made reference to it during last night's live seventh season results show.
Seacrest reminded Cowell of his Tuesday night criticism of finalist Jason Castro, when Cowell commented his performance of "Memory" "came over as a young guy being forced by your mom and dad to sing a song at a wedding you didn't want to sing."
"Simon was at a wedding," said Seacrest during last night's broadcast. "You were like a young boy forced to sing at, I guess, at his wedding."

"[That's not] funny," Cowell could be heard saying under his breathe as Seacrest continued with the show.
