Jordan and Jess were eliminated by So You Think You Can Dance judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy as well as guest judge Rob Marshall after they found themselves in the bottom four based on home viewer votes cast following Wednesday night's performance show.

"I guess you could say my alter ego is being fierce. This whole experience has been life changing and I feel like I accomplished the impossible dream," Jordan, an 18-year-old jazz dancer from Chino Hills, CA, said in a video after her elimination was announced.

So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley then asked Jordan what she will miss most about the competition.

"Everything. Working with everyone -- my family, the judges, and Jeff, you know I love you. My family, thank you guys for always being there for me. I love you so much, and thank you for all the support everyone," she added.

"Whenever I dance, I want people to feel happy. This journey has been unbelievable," Jess, an 18-year-old Broadway dancer from Little Falls, NJ, said in his own video, adding he "absolutely" enjoyed his journey.

Tadd Gadduang, a 25-year-old hip-hop dancer from Salt Lake City, UT, and Caitlynn Lawson, an 18-year-old contemporary dancer from Moses Lake, WA, were the other two members of the bottom-four vote-getters in danger of elimination, but they were saved by the So You Think You Can Dance judges.

According to Fox, seventh-season runner-up Kent Boyd, third-season contestants Jaimie Goodwin and Pasha Kovalev -- who also participated in the last two Wednesday night performance shows -- fourth-season runner-up Stephen "tWitch" Boss, fifth-season contestant Janette Manrara, and sixth-season contestant Ellenore Scott will return to the show and serve as all-star partners for the Top 6 contestants next week.

In addition, the network announced actress Christina Applegate and choreographer Lil' C will serve as guest judges.

So You Think You Can Dance's eighth eighth-season performance show will air on Wednesday, August 3 at 8PM ET/PT and feature the six remaining finalists performing for home viewer votes.

So You Think You Can Dance's next one-hour eighth-season live results show will then air on Thursday at 8PM ET/PT, featuring the elimination of one more male and one more female finalist.
