So You Think You Can Dance has revealed the 12 former contestants who will be part of the all-stars pool that will serve as possible partners for the show's seventh-season finalists.

The all-star pool will consist of second-season finalist Allison Holker; third-season finalists Lauren Gottlieb, Neil Haskell, Anya Garnis, Dominic Sandoval and Pasha Kovalev; fourth-season finalists Courtney Galiano, Stephen "Twitch" Boss, Comfort Fedoke and Mark Kanemura; fifth-season finalist Ade Obayomi; and sixth-season finalist Kathryn McCormick.

So You Think You Can Dance creator and lead judge Nigel Lythgoe revealed the identities of the all-stars via his Twitter account. He previously stated that all of the all-stars had to be "dominant in their genre of dance" to be chosen.

Holker, Gottlieb, Haskell, Obayomi, McCormick and Galiano are all considered to be contemporary dancers, while Garnis and Kovalev are both Latin ballroom specialists and Sandoval, Boss, Fedoke and Kanemura fall mainly into the hip-hop genre.

While the all-star pool does not contain any of the previous seasons' winners, Boss finished as the runner-up during the fourth season while Haskell finished third during the third season and McCormick finished third during the sixth installment.

The seventh-season finalists will draw a photograph of one of the all-stars on a weekly basis, and that will dictate the genre of dance that they're going to be dancing.

"The All-Stars will NOT Choreograph. They will only dance in their own specific styles. Partners are of the opposite sex and change weekly," reiterated Lythgoe in a recent Twitter post.

"Only the competitors will be judged not the 'All-Stars.' America votes for their favorite and one of the bottom three dancers will go home."

Instead of 20 contestants making it out of the competition's Las Vegas Round, only 10 finalists will be chosen.

So You Think You Can Dance's seventh season premieres May 27.
