While it's natural to have concerns during The Bachelor process given it's so brief and accelerated, Juliana and other bachelorettes grew frustrated with Carolina for continuing to date Grant -- and steal his time away from them -- when she seemed so unsure about him.
"A lot of the conversations do tend to happen off-camera, and I don't know if that's intentional... or not. I don't necessarily want to play telephone, but from my eyes, there were some doubts about who [Grant] was as a person and the process," Juliana explained of her issue with Carolina during a recent episode of the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast.
Juliana, who is one of Grant's Final 3 bachelorettes along with Litia Garr and Zoe McGrady, said it's okay to have doubts but not to "tear down what everyone else was also there to do."
Carolina, for instance, had vented to the other women during their week in Madrid: "I had a great time on our one-on-one, but I still feel like I don't know him. It's almost like how do you get engaged after one date essentially? I really like him but I also still barely know the guy."
Juliana admitted "it was hard to hear" Carolina complain, and she pointed out how Carolina could've opted out of The Bachelor at any point.
Juliana said Carolina's behavior -- which Litia had also called "ungrateful" and "entitled" on the show -- was unsettling for the other bachelorettes, who wanted to form their own opinions about Grant and not be influenced.
"To hear negativity about him when we didn't really have a chance to get to know him was hard because then maybe you're more reserved than you already were or you're not ready to open up or you don't trust him because of someone else's emotions. So it's tricky," Juliana explained to the podcast's co-hosts Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt.
Juliana therefore confronted Carolina about her complaining, saying it was disrespectful to the other women, many of whom were still waiting for a solo date with Grant at that point.

Juliana told Carolina that if she wasn't sold on Grant yet, she should pack her bags and leave. But Carolina insisted her doubts were natural and she truly felt potential with Grant.

"I think if you really rewind and watch the conversation that I had with Carolina initially and how I started it, I truly went in there with the intention of having a girl-to-girl respectful conversation and bring up the fact that her words and her actions were having a negative effect on the people around her because I did not think that she was aware of that," Juliana explained.
"And it was in her response to me [that] made it feel and look more like a confrontation than what was ever intended."
Juliana ended up telling Grant about Carolina's skepticism and noncommittal attitude, and it made Grant feel uneasy about his relationship with Carolina going forward.
"My conversation with Grant, like I said, there's a lot of things that happened behind closed doors. And I'm not a liar and there's truth in what I said," Juliana stated.
"But my gameplan going into the night was that I was not going to bring it up to him and I was not going to bring it up ever again to the other girls."
Juliana clarified that Grant was the one who "wanted to address it," and so she told him how she really felt.
"I felt it would be doing him a disservice if I didn't at least try to present the facts that I knew -- not any of the hearsay, not any of the telephone -- just things that I knew that had been said about him and his character, and how it was affecting the group," Juliana recalled.
Juliana suggested that, when looking back on the situation, she's happy that she had spoken up.

"Because I'll never not speak truthfully and stand on my own business. But I will also never poke my own neck into situations that don't necessarily require my words."

Juliana also insisted she would "never intentionally try to paint somebody in a negative light."
"Obviously things are cut and clipped as to the story that needs to be told," Juliana continued, "and that's fine, and what was shown did come out of my mouth."
Juliana went on to note, "I think that there's a lot more to the story, but I was able to provide him some clarity in that."
When asked if she dislikes Carolina, Juliana replied, "I think right now, Carolina and I are in a very similar position that we've opened ourselves up to public judgment and some people are going to agree with her and disagree with me and vice versa."
But Juliana said she'd never try to "bring additional negativity" Carolina's way "knowing that it could hurt her."
Juliana claimed it was never her intention to "tear [Carolina] down" when confronting her or talking about her now.
"I will never try to tear her down because I respect her as a person and a human -- I just don't have to like her," Juliana said.
"And that's fine, and that's fair. And that's how I feel about it."
Juliana added how she prides herself on being nice to others because life is already hard enough.
"It's nice to be nice... [Life] is too serious to spread anything but kindness, and, you know, the people that deserve to be loved the least need to be loved the most," Juliana concluded.

Carolina recently defended her behavior on Grant's The Bachelor season. She wrote via Instagram Stories on February 17, "God forbid you're not sure about a man you've been on one date with."
Once Dina Lupancu -- a bachelorette in Grant's Final 4 whom The Bachelor star really trusted -- also warned Grant about Carolina's antics, Grant chose to eliminate Carolina before hometown dates.
"I feel blindsided. I don't know if all the bullsh-t wouldn't have happened if I would be standing here or not," Carolina said in her final words.
"I didn't expect to feel so good about my connection with him right before being sent home. That breaks my heart, but I think I've learned I'm more resilient than I ever realized, and I hope there's someone that sees the value in me."
The Bachelor: The Women Tell All is set to air on Monday, March 10 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC, and then Grant's The Bachelor journey will continue with Fantasy Suite dates on Monday, March 17.
