"I feel blindsided. I don't know if all the bullsh-t wouldn't have happened if I would be standing here or not," Carolina said in her final words.
"I didn't expect to feel so good about my connection with him right before being sent home. That breaks my heart, but I think I've learned I'm more resilient than I ever realized, and I hope there's someone that sees the value in me."
Grant's Final 4 bachelorettes are therefore Dina, a 31-year-old attorney from Chicago, IL; Juliana Pasquarosa, a 28-year-old client service associate from Newton, MA; Litia, a 31-year-old venture capitalist from Salt Lake City, UT; and Zoe McGrady, a 27-year-old tech engineer and model from New York, NY
The Bachelor broadcast began with Grant and his seven remaining bachelorettes touching down in Scotland for the next week of dates.
Juliana was asked on the first one-on-one date, and the pair rode in a helicopter to a beautiful castle. Once the couple arrived, a royal valet welcomed them inside and gave them a room filled with clothes to choose from. There was traditional Scottish attire as well as beautiful gowns.
Juliana then walked a red carpet and danced with Grant at a ball as musicians played string instruments and locals waltzed around them.
Meanwhile, a Date Card arrived for Sarafiena, Alexe, Carolina, Dina and Zoe. That meant Litia would be accompanying Grant on the second one-on-one date of the week.
Zoe's eyes welled up with tears and she admitted she was "devastated." Zoe also said she felt "embarrassed" because Litia had a couple of one-on-one date moments with Grant this season and she had yet to have a single solo date with The Bachelor star.
Back on Juliana and Grant's date, Grant gifted Juliana a sparkly necklace, and Juliana said she felt like a princess.
Grant told Juliana that he was very attracted to her and felt connected to her but he wanted to get to know her better. Juliana shared how she wasn't always happy and bubbly over dinner that night. Juliana said growing up, someone really close to her had a problem with addiction.

"I think for a while in my life, I was alone. I didn't know how to cope with negativity and emotions of anger and confusion, and I was between the thought of not wanting to add more onto the plate of my family vs. being nervous because I didn't know how to verbalize it," Juliana told Grant.
"I think that the struggle has made me stronger, but of course that is why I come across happy all the time, because I'm afraid of the darkness I saw and I'm afraid of going back there."
She added, "I think laughing and smiling is a coping mechanism for me in a lot of days. I'm not ignorant to that, but I spent a lot of my life being really sad. I don't think it's a life to be lived in that mindset."
Grant explained that he related to Juliana because his father had struggled with addiction, and he said it was like looking at a reflection of himself at the dinner table. Grant revealed how his father had lied to him many times and he wanted to be there for Juliana and lift her up.
"You surprise me, and this is what I'm looking for. Not only am I physically attracted to you, but I am emotionally attracted to you," Grant expressed to Juliana.

Juliana said she didn't cry a lot and tended to break down when she was by herself at night. Grant also related to her "lone wolf" mentality, and so he showed off the tattoo of a wolf on his arm. Juliana couldn't believe how much they had in common and how special he made her feel.
Juliana said her friends stepped in, saved her and gave her a desire and drive to continue living during those dark times.

"She's exactly what I'm looking for," Grant gushed in a confessional. "I can see Juliana as my wife, and that's crazy to say!"
The night ended with Grant and Juliana watching fireworks above the castle and kissing outside. Juliana said Grant was the man of her dreams and the date was a fairy tale overall.
"Cinderella can take a backseat because this is the next level type of love," Juliana said.
The next day, Grant embarked on the group date. Zoe decided to give the date her all and remain optimistic, and Sarafiena admitted she liked Grant more than any other man she had ever dated.
The women played musical chairs, had their fortunes read and competed in little Scottish competitions. They all agreed it was an awesome day and the vibe was good, except for Carolina, who seemed down and made herself a bit of an outsider.
Grant therefore pulled Carolina aside to talk. Carolina insisted she was having fun, but Grant wasn't buying it.
Zoe was frustrated that Carolina got extra time with Grant when she wasn't really participating in the date, and she said it was "The Carolina Show" once again. Zoe was annoyed that playing the "damsel in distress" got Grant's attention and she was missing out on time with The Bachelor star as a result.
Even Dina -- who had consoled, supported and defended Carolina before -- thought Carolina was in the wrong. Dina complained about how Carolina was unfairly monopolizing Grant's time.
Carolina cried to Grant about how she felt he had stronger connections with other women and it was "so obvious" that she wasn't going to be The One for him.
"You were one of my strongest connections here, but then things started happening, and I feel like it put a damper [on things] to where, now, I don't even know if you're feeling it like that. I don't know if you want to be here... and I don't even know what's real," Grant explained to Carolina.
Carolina asked Grant what he wanted to do, and he put the ball in her court.
"You already know what you want, and that's fine. I just want to accept it for what it is, and I don't feel like it's for me," Carolina lamented to The Bachelor star, looking for validation.

Carolina said she never wanted to get involved in all that drama, but Grant said he was actually relieved and pleased to have such a "real" conversation because he truly liked her.
"After our one-on-one, you were one of my strongest connections," Grant assured Carolina.
"I 'was,' see! You're even saying it yourself," Carolina said.
Grant explained how he was just trying to get to know the real her, and then Carolina cried about how she was afraid her family was going to fall in love with him -- only for her to leave her in the end.
Instead of calling it quits and dumping Carolina, he told the bachelorette that it was okay to cry sometimes and he never wanted her to hold in her feelings.

Grant told Carolina that he wanted to lift her up and comfort her because he was emotionally invested in her and that's what a partnership and a marriage is all about.
Grant asked Carolina to trust him because he wanted to move forward with her and rekindle the strong connection they had established earlier in the season.
Carolina initially thought Grant was going to send her home, and so she was surprised by the turn their conversation had taken. Carolina clearly felt better and agreed to move forward with Grant, and she noted how it was a "very cute moment."
While Carolina regained confidence and security in her romance with Grant, the other bachelorettes on the group date were spiraling.
"I just feel like I'm being a fool for someone else's love story," Zoe complained to the ladies.

"Carolina does not care about this experience," Zoe vented to the cameras. "She does not care about us. She does not care about respecting other people. So if I were Grant, I'd say, 'Go the f-ck home!'"
At the afterparty, Zoe finally addressed how she felt slighted and a little hurt because the pair never got to have a one-on-one date.
Zoe admitted she had considered packing her bags and going home, but once she chose to stuck with it, she noticed that Grant was giving more time and energy to one bachelorette, meaning Carolina.
Grant shared with Zoe how he had been questioning whether they could have a future together but then she really opened up to him on a date about her past and struggles as a Black woman, which changed things for him.
Grant said although they never had a one-on-one date, it only took one conversation for him to know that they had something promising. Grant told Zoe that he really liked her and she always left him wanting more, which gave Zoe some of the reassurance she really needed.
After Zoe decided to stay in the competition, Sarafiena spoke to Grant about how he'd be the first man she brought home in six years, which was a really big deal for her. And Alexe told Grant that it was tough being away from him, which proved she really cared about him.
When Dina, Zoe, Sarafiena and Carolina were in the lounge together, Carolina was quiet as the other women talked about how Grant needed a strong woman who could comfort him and be supportive.
They also complained about how the date had been cut short, with Zoe adding, "There's nothing to gain from pouting or trying to bring negative energy into a group date."
Carolina thought it was "crazy" how the women were intentionally excluding her from the conversation and taking "jabs" at her without addressing her directly. She called their behavior "so childish."
Once Carolina was finally brought into the conversation -- by Dina accusing her of not asking any of the women how their day had gone -- Sarafiena announced how she didn't have much respect for Carolina.
Dina told Carolina that she had been pouty and negative, and she complained about how Carolina had stolen Grant and spent the entire day with him when the other women were still waiting for time alone with him.

"I did not grab him," Carolina argued.
"Do you not have free will? Could you not stop a conversation?" Dina asked Carolina.
"No," Carolina responded.
"Okay then, amazing," Dina said.
Dina couldn't believe how Carolina was acting, and she called Carolina "ungrateful." Dina accused Carolina of monopolizing Grant's time, saying that she didn't care about any of the other women.
But Carolina pointed out how she "couldn't account for the weather gods," meaning she had no idea the date was going to be cut short due to the rain.
Carolina decided that she was "done playing nice" with the other bachelorettes because they never would have turned down alone time with Grant for the benefit of the other women.
Dina insisted that if Grant had pulled her, she would have spoken to Grant but made sure their conversation was brief. Carolina, however, wasn't buying it, and she didn't think the other women respected her.
"I guess I'm crazy and evil!" Carolina shouted as she attempted to find Grant for another chat.
When Carolina sat down with The Bachelor star, it was all good vibes and Carolina said she was feeling great. Carolina assured Grant that she really cared about him and wanted to stay, and Grant seemed to appreciate that Carolina wore her heart on her sleeve.
Carolina told Grant that she would be really proud to introduce him to her family.

"Quite frankly, I feel played by Carolina," Dina told the cameras, adding how she had defended and supported Carolina before.
"I am witnessing now, firsthand, how Carolina thinks about herself and nobody else. And I would like to let Grant know that. Grant is smart and intuitive, and I think he's going to realize who the problem is and hopefully send her ass home."
Dina therefore talked to Grant and shared how she'd never be a taker or a damsel in distress in his life.
Dina mentioned to Grant how he should be taking women's opinions seriously because there were people truly there for him.
"And there are other people who are only thinking about themselves, and I'm not necessarily willing to take accountability for the things that they do... I think you know what's up, and I trust you'll make a good decision," Dina told Grant.
Grant understood what Dina was trying to tell him, and then Dina continued, "I tried to see the best in her, and then towards the end of the week, I was like, 'Ohh, now I see why everyone has to say what they have to say... I saw things I needed to see."
Dina's warning really worried and "surprised" Grant because he really trusted Dina.
"I've had too many women talk about Carolina, so at some point, I'm like, 'Is it her?' Carolina, I do see her as somebody I could be with, so I still have a lot of things to figure out," Grant shared in a confessional.
The next day, Grant explored Edinburgh with Litia, and he confirmed that she was one of his strongest connections on the show.
The pair had a fun day trying new foods and playing music in the streets. They showed each other how they could be goofy and carefree, and Grant envisioned that he could definitely see Litia being his wife and coming home to her every day after work.
At dinner that night, Litia revealed to Grant how her family members are very religious and conservative Mormons, and that she had never dated a man outside of the Mormon faith.

Litia explained how she wanted religion to be a big part of her family's upbringing, and Grant shared how he has a relationship with God and tried to live his life with compassion and love.
Grant therefore believed he and Litia could probably come to an understanding and agreement about the logistics, and she seemed thrilled because she thought Grant had such a big heart.
"I am falling for you," Grant told Litia. "You are amazing and beautiful. You are smart and funny. And you are ready and I am ready. When two people like that meet, amazing things can happen."
The couple then danced to a live performance by the talented vocalist and pianist Emeli Sande.
Litia said her night with Grant made her "just want to love him."
When a producer asked, "Do you?" Litia replied, "Yeah."
During the cocktail party preceding the fifth Rose Ceremony of the season, Carolina apologized to Dina and said she was grateful for Dina's support. Carolina wished her the best and said she regretted how things had gone done.
Dina thanked Carolina, who admitted she wasn't perfect and had messed up. The moment made Dina cry and they hugged it out.
Grant proceeded to hand out roses to Litia, Juliana, Dina and Zoe.
Alexe confessed how her breakup with Grant really hurt.
"I really thought this was it, but I'm just happy that he's, you know, finding the right person for him," Alexe cried to the cameras.

Both Carolina and Sarafiena said they felt "blindsided" by their elimination.
"I cared so much about him and I was willing to introduce him to my family and my friends. I wish it was me, but it's not," Sarafiena said following her exit.
"I'm going to find someone who is going to love every single part of me. I just don't know what happened."
