ABC has announced The Bachelor's 22nd edition will begin with Season 17 The Bachelor star Sean Lowe and his wife Catherine Giudici dropping by the Los Angeles mansion with their young son Samuel to offer Arie some advice on searching for his soul mate.
Arie and Sean have been friends ever since they both competed for Emily's heart on The Bachelorette. (Arie finished as the runner-up behind winner, Jef Holm, while Sean placed third that season).
Sean will discuss how to handle dating multiple women at once, while Catherine will help prepare Arie for fatherhood by making him change a diaper.
"Little Samuel reminds Arie how much he wants the life that Sean and Catherine have. Now armed with advice and encouragement, Arie is ready for the tumultuous night ahead," the network teases.
The limos then start to arrive at The Bachelor mansion with women eager to make a lasting first impression.
The bachelorettes include a beautiful blonde wearing a mask who proclaims that Arie is not the only "kissing bandit;" another woman who drives up on a miniature Formula One racecar -- leaving quite a few ladies jealous -- one "sassy" female who compliments Arie in Dutch, his second language; and one "sultry" hopeful who whispers sweet nothings in his ear.
But one "charming" woman especially stands out when she arrives in a cherry red '65 convertible Mustang.
The party gets started once Arie steps inside the mansion, and right away, he's swept away by "a very assertive and mysterious bachelorette" who lands the first conversation with the Bachelor as well as the first kiss of the season. ABC teases the kiss will be "very romantic."
Arie will attempt to give each bachelorette the attention she deserves, but some women will fight harder than others, especially once the First Impression Rose arrives and anxiety increases.
A hopeful TV host believes that her future with the Bachelor is destiny, and another "gorgeous, thoughtful woman" demands that Arie dig deep and explain why he hasn't found true love since Emily. A "feisty lady" uses a ukulele to serenade Arie, and another woman challenges him to race miniature racecars.
Arie will finally decide whom to present the coveted First Impression Rose to, but no further details regarding this moment have been released.

The long but fun cocktail party will conclude with the 22nd season's first Rose Ceremony during which Arie must hand out roses to 21 lucky women, sending eight bachelorettes packing.
Arie will ultimately embark on romantic, adventurous and exotic dates this season, testing the women's willingness to put it all on the line for love.

Two back-to-back one-on-one dates will kick off Arie's season. The first? Arie treats a woman like a princess, as she receives designer dresses from fashion icon Rachel Zoe.
The second? Arie whisks another bachelorette away to his hometown of Scottsdale, AZ, where she will catch a glimpse of his everyday life and even meet his parents! The pair will then enjoy a private performance by singer and songwriter Connor Duermit.
Subsequent group dates will include 15 women clashing in a Bachelor-style demolition derby with special commentary provided by The Bachelor host Chris Harrison and Arie's friend, racecar driver Robby Gordon.
And later, eight women will be trained by GLOW legends Ursula Hayden and Angela Altishin to compete in a wrestling match called G.L.O.B. -- "Gorgeous Ladies of The Bachelor." Arie welcomes a surprise guest for the wrestling date, Kenny "Pretty Boy Pit Bull" King, from Rachel Lindsay's season of The Bachelorette.
Then it's on to Lake Tahoe, where Arie will take one bachelorette parasailing and the couple will dance and kiss to a performance by the country music band called Lanco.

"An adventurous airboat trip through the Florida swamps not only uncovers alligators, but a delicacy: frog legs!" ABC teases.
As for the exotic dates, Arie and his chosen bachelorettes will travel to Paris, France, where women will have the opportunity to take a speedboat tour of the city on the Seine River or enjoy a picnic in the Luxembourg Gardens.
Arie's journey will also include a performance at the famed Moulin Rouge, dinner at Maxim's, and kissing atop the iconic Eiffel Tower.
The next stop is Tuscany, Italy, with its unique culture, cuisine and lovely countryside views.
The bachelorettes' hometown dates will then be "filled with emotional revelations," according to ABC, "but in a 180-degree turn, the final three bachelorettes travel to spectacular Ica, Peru, for the unpredictable overnight dates where... more surprises await the unsuspecting Bachelor."
Arie will eventually end up in Cusco, Peru, where he will hopefully choose a partner, fiancee and future wife.
Will Arie find the woman he has long been searching for? And will she love him back?
The Bachelor is produced by Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Unscripted & Alternative Television. Mike Fleiss, Elan Gale, Bennett Graebner and Nicole Woods serve as executive producers.
While they have already leaked out, the identities of Arie's Season 22 bachelorettes have not officially been released by ABC yet. In addition, spoilers for the identities of Arie's Final 4 bachelorettes and his final pick have also surfaced.
