The Bachelor star Chris Soules eliminated four nineteenth-season bachelorettes during the ABC reality dating series' fourth episode Monday night.

Chris denied Jillian Anderson, a 25-year-old news producer from Washington, D.C., a rose during a spontaneous one-on-one date. He then eliminated Ashley Salter, a 24-year-old hairstylist from Brooklyn, NY; Juelia Kinney, a 30-year-old esthetician from Portland, OR; and Nikki Delventhal, a 26-year-old former NFL cheerleader from New York City, NY, traditionally during the season's fourth Rose Ceremony.

The Bachelor's fourth nineteenth-season episode began with host Chris Harrison giving the bachelorettes the week's first date card. He explained there would be two group dates and a single one-on-one date. However, there was a catch. Chris' three sisters would determine who would receive the special one-on-one date.

For the first group date, the following women were selected: Ashley S.; Juelia; Kaitlyn Bristowe, a 29-year-old dance instructor from Vancouver, BC; Mackenzie Deonigi, a 21-year-old dental assistant from Maple Valley, WA; Kelsey Poe, a 28-year-old guidance counselor from Austin, TX; Samantha Steffen, a 27-year-old fashion designer from Los Angeles, CA; Megan Bell, a 23-year-old makeup artist from Nashville, TN; and Ashley Iaconetti, a 26-year-old nanny from Wayne, NJ.

The ladies and Chris embarked on a date to a nearby lake, where they swam, tanned, jumped off a dock, and kayaked. Ashley I. took her top off and jumped in. Kaitlyn then followed suit and took her bottom off. Kelsey told the cameras it wasn't appropriate and the lake date was "made for bimbos." She almost wanted to call it quits because of whom she was competing against.

Meanwhile, Chris' sisters arrived at the mansion and surprised a handful of girls. Carly Waddell, a 29-year-old cruise ship singer from Arlington, TX, opened the door and greeted them sweetly. Jillian, on the other hand, was embarrassed because she had fallen asleep by the pool in her bikini and couldn't find a towel in order to cover herself up. It was not the first impression she wanted to make on the women who could potentially be her future in-laws.

Jillian was the last person to join the conversation, but the sisters wanted to speak to each girl individually and ask them some tough questions -- like whether they could see themselves moving to Iowa and how they viewed their romantic connection with Chris.

When Jade Roper, a 28-year-old cosmetics developer from Los Angeles, talked to them, she explained how she models clothing but also recently launched her own organic makeup line. The sisters seemed impressed with her accomplishments, and then Jade discussed how she feels relationships are all about compromise, balance and being honest.

Back on the group date, most of the girls were having a blast and called it "a perfect day," however, Kelsey was complaining about how they were in the middle of nowhere swimming in muddy water. She is from Michigan and noted how there are beautiful lakes at home, not some "dingy pond." She was clearly faking a smile for Chris and pretended to enjoy the "hell hole."

"There are moments when I just feel like taking a fork and stabbing it in my eye," Kelsey said in a confessional.

Chris then announced everyone was going to camp overnight at the lake. Everyone appeared excited except Kelsey obviously. She couldn't imagine the date getting any worse. Chris revealed there would be two people to a tent and he had his own tent around the corner. The bachelorettes had to pitch a tent themselves and were given mats and blankets to sleep on. Kaitlyn insisted she was completely in her element, while Mackenzie and Ashley I. struggled to get acquainted with their new environment.

Meanwhile, Carly opened up to Chris' sisters and got emotional when talking about her past relationships. She admitted a man had never really treated her well and she was hoping to fall in love with a good man like Chris. She admired her grandparents' relationship and wanted to be in one just like it.

Later on, at the mansion, the next date card arrived and it revealed Jade would be getting the week's only one-on-one date. It was a fairy tale date and Chris, her "Prince Charming," didn't know she'd be arriving. All the girls were jealous about the Cinderella-type of date, and Jade was overwhelmed but completely flattered.

On the camping group date, Kaitlyn continued to impress Chris with who she is as a person. She was annoyed how Kelsey was "pouting." When Kelsey was around Chris, she acted happy, prompting Ashley I. to call her "phony bologna" and "fake."

When everyone was sitting around the fire, the bachelorettes drank quite a bit. Ashley S. sang and danced to her own weird song, Mackenzie was talking about aliens, and Kaitlyn noted it was fun to let loose under the full moon. Kaitlyn joked around that Ashley S. seemed possessed and crazy although she was quite entertaining.

Ashley S. then got some alone time with Chris and told him that she loved him and loved everything about him even though it sounded crazy. She kissed him roughly a couple times and asked him to register that information in his mind. Chris seemed a little uncomfortable and confused by Ashley S.'s odd behavior.

That night, Ashley I. snuck into Chris' tent to tell him she's a good girl and innocent. She was hoping to get the point across that she's a virgin, and although she was convinced she had accomplished that after walking away from their conversation, Chris told the cameras afterward he had no idea what Ashley I. was talking about.

Once the entire group returned to the mansion, Ashley I. grew very jealous about Jade's date since she described herself as "a Disney princess."

A random team of makeup artists and hair stylists then showed up to get Jade ready for the ball. Jade got to pick a dress from numerous choices and was given her own pair of beautiful glass slippers. Jade was given a lot of jewelry to wear, including diamond earrings, which she got to keep. Jade was dressed in a ballgown and looked like a "modern-day Cinderella."

Jade then walked a red carpet outside, got picked up in a white old-fashioned car, and was taken straight to Chris, who was wearing a tuxedo and practicing his dance moves in the meantime. Chris had a huge smile on his face when he found out his sisters had picked Jade for the date, and he thought she looked "absolutely stunning." Chris always thought she was on the quiet side, but he was still thrilled she had been chosen.

During their dinner, Jade shared how she had been engaged before at dinner but so was Chris, so it didn't matter. The Bachelor then offered Jade his rose and they danced the night away to a live orchestra on a stage in front of everyone. They kissed and Chris admitted he had overlooked her for a while -- but that certainly wasn't going to happen again in the future.

The next morning, another date card arrived for Nikki; Jillian; Carly; Britt Nilsson, a 27-year-old waitress from Hollywood, CA; Whitney Bischoff, a 29-year-old fertility nurse from Chicago, IL; and Becca Tilley, a 25-year-old chiropractic assistant from San Diego, CA.

Although the date card suggested they'd be getting dirty, the bachelorettes each received a box and inside was a beautiful white wedding dress. The girls took a private jet to San Francisco and learned they'd be competing in a "muck run" to raise awareness for MS. They had to run, jump, climb, and crawl through the mud in their dresses. The bride to win the challenge would receive a little one-on-one date with Chris later that night while the rest of the women would be forced to go home.

Jillian won the "muck run" by a landslide, and Carly joked that her biceps might be bigger than Chris' and she should've been wearing a tuxedo rather than a gown.

That night, Jillian and Chris enjoyed dinner on the roof of a tall building with lovely views of the city. He said he had an automatic attraction to Jillian -- not only for her looks but because she was also cute and funny. They discussed their five-year plans and then Jillian ended up doing most of the talking, which Chris appreciated because he got a break. However, it became too much and Jillian started talking way too fast. The words went over Chris' head and his mind wandered to thinking about "fairies and unicorns."

It was a very romantic setting, but Chris wasn't sure whether they had a real romantic connection. It didn't feel like his relationships with other women and she began cracking dirty jokes that appeared to turn him off. Chris called Jillian gorgeous and said he loved her energy but he was looking for his wife and felt they lacked chemistry. He also believed they had different goals set for themselves. Jillian told Chris she was just really nervous, but the Bachelor explained he just had to follow his gut.

Jillian cried and apologized for not being able to share her heart with him sooner. She never got vulnerable with him because of the tough situation. Chris tried to give her the respect she deserved by letting her go immediately when he discovered they wouldn't be together down the road. Chris wants to get married badly, and he said if the journey didn't work out, he'd be concerned about his own potential in life.

"I hope I find love someday -- not just love -- but love with the person I'm supposed to share my life with," Jillian said following her ouster.

The following night, at the cocktail party, Megan blindfolded Chris and fed him fruit and chocolate.

Ashley I. realized she didn't clarify how she was a virgin, so she decided to share the news with Chris and just be straight-forward about it. Chris was pretty shocked and definitely didn't see it coming, but he understood how she was just waiting for the right guy to come along. Chris had gotten the vibe she was conservative but not that conservative. He respected it and told her it's a good thing. Chris was impressed and immediately respected her more.

However, Ashley I. didn't know how Chris felt about it and began worrying her revelation had turned him off. He didn't kiss her at the end of their conversation, so she feared he thought she was too innocent.

"I think I really freaked him out," Ashley I. told the cameras in tears.

Mackenzie said in a confessional Ashley I. tends to "blow everything out of proportion." Once Ashley I. shared with the group of girls she was a virgin -- and it blew Carly and Kaitlyn's minds because she had madeout with Chris so much and so intensely -- Becca also confessed to being a virgin.

"We have two virgins in the house -- two! I cannot make this up. Stay tuned," Kaitlyn joked in a confessional.

Meanwhile, Britt was getting inside her head because she hadn't seen Chris all week. She felt good when she was with him, but she noticed he was trying to make other girls feel special as well. Britt said hearing about other dates was disconcerting, especially all the talk about sex and how girls were stripping during the camping date. Britt wasn't a fan of Chris giving Kaitlyn the group-date rose after she took her bathing suit bottom off.

Britt confronted Chris about why that type of behavior was okay and actually rewarded. Chris was taken aback by the discussion, telling the cameras it was "tough" how Britt was questioning his integrity and decision-making. Chris told Britt he wasn't rewarding inappropriate behavior, that he saw different sides of Kaitlyn he liked. Britt told Chris she really liked him and wasn't mad at him. Chris told Britt he was putting his heart and soul into every second of the experience and then walked away from her pretty abruptly.

"I'm a man and I will handle this like a man," Chris said in a confessional, admitting his frustration.

Chris then addressed the bachelorettes as a whole and said they were all welcome to go home if they questioned his intentions because he was taking things very seriously. He then told Chris Harrison he was confident in his elimination choices and ready to move forward. Britt was very worried he might send her home.

Once the Rose Ceremony commenced, besides Kaitlyn and Jade, Chris gave roses to Whitney, Carly, Megan, Samantha, Mackenzie, Kelsey, Becca, Ashley I., and finally Britt.

Chris said it was most difficult to send Juelia home because she had been through so much in her life that she didn't deserve. He walked her out and explained that since he wasn't sure about his feelings for her, he felt she needed to be home with her daughter. Chris noted that he didn't want to waste her time and was so glad and lucky to have met her.

"You're a beautiful person inside and out," Chris told Juelia.

Juelia was understanding and gracious about her elimination. She didn't blame Chris for letting her go knowing he had so many difficult decisions to make.
