The Bachelorette alum Gabby Windey has married her comedian girlfriend Robby Hoffman, but the wedding wasn't exactly planned.

The couple's $799 wedding included a limo, professional photos, a "disengaged" minister in red sneakers, and a dance down the aisle to a song by Chappell Roan -- and Gabby called it "the best night of my life."
Gabby, 34, recalled to the magazine, "It was the best. In a weird way, it was giving Bachelor because there were roses everywhere. I never envisioned my wedding as a kid or anything, but that's part of what made this feel so right. Actually being there and feeling it, it was so us."
Robby, 35, noted how she and Gabby had "no expectations," adding, "We just had love and openness."
Gabby and Robby spontaneously got engaged and married in Las Vegas after they had to evacuate their home in Los Angeles due to the Pacific Palisades wildfires. (Gabby had announced the couple's evacuation via social media on January 8).
"We had just evacuated from the fires. Literally cue Rihanna, 'We found love in a hopeless place,'" Gabby quipped while rocking a Cartier wedding ring on her finger.
"What better time to get married than right now? Because if the world is ending, we want to be with each other."
Once the couple left California and checked into their Las Vegas hotel room, Gabby thought it looked like a wedding suite.
"Gabby turned to me and she went, 'Should we get married?' And look: I've been proposing since the day I met her. We got to this room and it's like out of a mafia movie, 12-foot ceilings, a separate bedroom from the living room, that type of hotel," Robby shared with Cosmopolitan.
"And we were like, 'Whoa.' And then Gabby floated getting married."
Gabby said it was "nice" that it was her idea to exchange vows because Robby had been ready to propose three weeks into their relationship.

"I'm always the one pumping the brakes, but when something feels right, it just feels right," Gabby noted.

Robby apparently already had plans to propose marriage six months from that point, and so Gabby decided to speed things up.
Gabby, however, still wanted Robby to officially pop the question, and so Robby, trying to think of the perfect marriage proposal, was inspired by the couple's mutual love for New York Times crossword puzzles.
"I had a friend make a crossword. I gave him the clues and the answers, and I said it had to say, 'WILL YOU MARRY ME, GABBY,'" Robby said, adding, "She said yes! And we were engaged for a day."
Robby said it "felt right" to have an intimate and private wedding since their relationship has played out in the public eye.
"People are like, 'How does it feel after you're married? Does it feel the same?' And the answer is honestly no—it feels better. I feel more committed. This is my wife," Gabby shared.
"I think we just feel more comfortable," Robby added.

Gabby gushed about how Robby is the person whom she wants next to her for the rest of her life.
"I wish it was just us two all the time," Gabby gushed.
And Robby concluded, "We have the same cadence. I know it seems to people we're so different, but it gels. We have the same core. I love her for her, and she loves me for me."
Gabby met Robby after competing on Clayton Echard's season of The Bachelor and then starring on The Bachelorette's 19th season alongside Rachel Recchia.
Gabby and Robby went Instagram official in August 2023 and then moved in together the following year.
Gabby previously said she began questioning her sexuality at age 30 and then her desire to date women became stronger while on tour for Dancing with the Stars' 31st season.
Gabby met Robby outside of a bar, and Robby apparently charmed The Bachelorette alum with her personality and sense of humor.
Gabby told BachelorNation.com in April 2024 that coming out as queer in her thirties was "kind of a blessing" in her life.
"I had life experience that you don't have when you're younger. Robby had a terrible coming out story from when she was 17 and she went through so much scrutiny," Gabby revealed.
"So being an adult, I can stand on my own a little bit more. It's less about labels and what my sexuality is and more that I just fell in love. So yes, I was exploring, but there was something about our connection that was really special."

Gabby said she "knew early on" in her romance with Robby that they're "right for each other, and Robby said she had the same intuition.

"I do want to get married. I think it's another level of commitment to bring two people closer," Gabby explained to Us Weekly at the time.
"Whether I want to do it [again] right away -- I think I'm just now getting on my feet, getting accustomed to this new life, really finding myself processing all the big change that's happened in a couple of years."
The Bachelor 26 alum therefore noted, "So I kind of want to revel in that and I don't want to rush a relationship. I want to be in the beginning. I want things to look forward to."
Gabby joked about how she felt "bad" for people who get married young in life.
"At [age] 18, like, what else is there in life?" The Bachelorette alum quipped. "You already did the biggest day of your life, you know what I mean?"
But when it came to the idea of potentially starting a family, Gabby confessed on the "Just B with Bethenny Frankel" podcast in September 2023, "We don't want kids."
When asked if she and Robby had made that decision together, Gabby shared, "Both of us didn't want them separately... Honestly, with Robby, I would love to see little Robbys, and I would love to see her as a mom because she's so hilarious and she's so present."
Gabby was apparently living her best life and so she didn't want her dynamic with Robby to change.
"We both had tumultuous childhoods and we both went through so much as kids, so we want to be kids now!" Gabby explained on the podcast.
"We are kids and we play so much. We want to be able to have room for ourselves and really treat our relationship like our child. That is our priority and we want to throw all of our resources into protecting it and growing it and nurturing it."
Gabby said she had "a lot of shame" to work through after her time on The Bachelor franchise but now she loves being in a monogamous relationship with Robby and believes "real love transcends gender."

Gabby was previously engaged to her The Bachelorette winner Erich Schwer.
Gabby and Erich got engaged on The Bachelorette's nineteenth-season finale, which aired in September 2022, but Gabby announced their amicable breakup just two short months later during an episode of Dancing with the Stars' 31st season.
"I do feel like [I was a] little caught up in 'Bachelor world.' I think it is a little dated," Gabby told Us about accepting Erich Schwer's marriage proposal on the show.
When Gabby and Erich's engagement ended, Gabby said she and her former fiance weren't "in sync" or "the best match" for each other.
